Vikings

Good game today.

Predictions?

first off congrats to the Vikes for taking it to the cowgirls :10sign::cheers:

I predict Vikes. 28 N.O. 14

and congrats to the NY Jets for beating SD this was a good game.

Dang, that prayer of mine really worked. Guess I'll have to work on another one for next week. (Truth be told, I didn't write the first one. Got it from a friend in an email) But man, oh man, did the Vikes put an old fashion a$$ whoopin on the Cowboys. I was lovin it! And I think that last touchdown was just a little payback for the "Hail Mary" in '75. Like Jimmy Johnson said after the game about that last touchdown, "If the Cowboys don't like it and don't want them to score. Then stop 'em".

Next week should be interesting. But if the Vikings defense can play like they did today the Vikes just might be Superbowl bound.

I think that last one was for all the crap they were hearing from them all week. Pluss I think they are going for some record for Favre, having to do with Joe Montana. They were talking something about it but I didn't catch all of it.

George, That prayer worked great, I hope it carries all the way to the SB. If the defense plays like it did today the vikes ahould be there. Prediction 24 Vikes 21 N.O........Bob

OK, I took it on the chin and I see the "rest of you" are jumping on the purple band wagon...(you know Barney is purple: remember the purple lab pic)...sooooooooooooo...1) the quarterback from New Orleans is a Texas boy, 2) Louisana is a neighbor, and 3) just to be different, I'll take the Saints...:D

Alot of us never left the wagon. Some of us may have been sitting on the edge of the wagon, but we never jumped completely off.

JMC, as much as it pains me to say this, your cowboys will get their day in the light. That's a good young team that with some more seasoning will know doubt be back in the playoffs again soon.

Of course that's if Jerry Jones can keep his nose out of it and let the people HE hired do their jobs with out him looking over their shoulder. Did you catch him lurking behind Phillips on the sidelines.

Vikings Prayer!!!

Our Favre-ther who art in Mississippi hallowed be thy name. Thy bowl will come, it will be won, In Miami as it is in the Dome. Give us this Sunday, Our weekly win. Give us touchdown passes, but do not let others pass against us. Lead us not into frustration, but deliver us to the Super Bowl. For thine is the MVP, the b... ...est in the NFC, and the glory of the Purple People Eaters now and forever, AMEN GO VIKINGS!!!

The Cowboys are a good team, no doubt, and they made some good progress this year. But I still don't trust Romo to play "big" in big games. He and Rivers (Chargers) have yet to prove they can get it done when it counts. Minnesota's defense harassed Romo all day... but 3 points?

Next week's game should be determined by which team puts the most pressure on the opposing QB, so again, I like Minnesota's chances.

Told ya so:p So how many Viking fans in the Twin Cities called in sick today? They will have their hands full next week, should be the game of the year.

How about them VIKES!!
Sure enough brought their best game.
Now I think "W" all the way.

I can't give it more than Vikes by 3 but if the defense can shut down Brees like they did Dallas and Adrian shows up then the spread could be littlle wider.

Uguide, I think you hit the nail on the head. At this point in time I have more confidence in the offense playing on the road than the defense. The pass rush on the road of late was not good nor was the pass coverage for that matter.

That said, this is the playoffs and win you move on, lose you go home. No doubt it will be harder for the defense to play in the superdome without that crowd noise to feed upon, but I think after yesterday this group will be motivated.

Wow, jumping on the bandwagon???? Cowboys got throttled, they were cocky and over-confident. The Silver Fox took it to them big time.
Tough game against the Saints, but this Vikings team is a good one. Look out........

Exactly. Did any catch Bradshaw's comment on the vikings scoring that last touchdown and running up the score. Geez... what is his problem.

Put your foot on their neck and don't let'em up.

We'll need another stellar performance next week. I think we can get'r done though.

I checked out some cowboys fans blogs last week and they were talking so much crap, I couldn't believe it. All of them today were mad at the Cowgirls and Keith Brooking for saying we were running up the score at the end of the game. Even the cowgirl fans were on the Vikings side. I guess they are a little smarter than I thought. lol.......

Birdshooter, seems like they either had a "A" game or a "D" game this season.

I hope they bring their A game.

I have to root for the Saints this weeked. I was happy to see Dallas lose but I would like to see the Saints make it to the super bowl for the first time. I'm a Falcons fan and i don't remember brooking being such a whiner when he was with them. He must be drinking the cowboy kool aid.

I for one want to see all the so-called panel experts predict a Saints convincing win like they did with the Cowboys. I think it pumps up the vikes even more when everyone is betting against them. It sure got Chilly's dander up.
