Vikings

The Vegas betting lines opened with the Saints 4.5 point favorites over the Vikes and the Colts 7 point favorites over the Jets. The odds are against it but a double-upset wouldn't shock me either.

The other cool stat is that the Vikes has lost last 4 NFC Championship games in a row. Those stats are just waiting to get reset.

JMB, I like the line on Colts and think they will pull it off and don't look for upset by Jets. Manning is just way too solid. Manning vs. Farve in Superbowl....???....Hmmmmmm. Pretty good headline.

I agree with Saints being favored, especially at home. Vikes win would be an upset but not a pipe dream like past Vikings playoff hopes have been.


Edwards is big loss on the pass rush and the backups will have to game up. they did good against Dallas after Edwards went out.

I don't think Vegas gives the Jets much respect on what they can do Defensively I was impress how they handle SD even though Norv Turner called a conservative game. I like rooting for the underdog, I am hoping the Jets put Peyton on his a$$ and beat the Colts. JETS AND VIKES in the super bowl, now that would be a good game IMO.

Chris... You bet on whether the combined score of both teams will be over or under the number that Vegas sets. "If" I were a betting man, I'd go over on the Vikes-Saints and under on the Colts-Jets. ;)

I had a feeling the Vikes would stomp the Cowboys, but I would feel better flipping a coin with the Vikes vs. Saints. Hopefully the Vikes strike early.
 
I remember all to well the 98 Vikings. I would have bet my Montana Combo license that the Vikes would have taken it all that year.
MAN! I hope they beat the Saints.
 
If Ray Edwards and Kevin Williams are not 100% on Sunday the defensive line might struggle and it could be a tough day for the defense in general. And now Percy Harvin in having migraines again and could be questionable. Hope they all heal fast.
