Vikings

We'll another few days till the much anticipated match up between the Cowboys and Vikings. I hate the cowboys..:mad:

Anyone care to make any predictions or offer some tidbits on what to expect Sunday?

Personally, I think the Vikes are going to have to bring their A game Sunday and no major lapses on Defense ala (Bears, Panthers). I think Peterson will have to at least have some success with running the ball or I think it will be a long afternoon.

In Short, I think the Vikes can beat the Cowboys if they play the kind of game they have been playing at home all year. I think we have the slight advantage playing in the dome.

final score prediction..... Vikings 30 Cowboys 28

Oh and I think Cards will beat the Saints...

Ah but you forget. If both the Vikes and Cards win they play here in the Dome..:cheers:

Otherwise if we win and Saints win, hello Superdome.:mad:
 
I've been a die hard Vikings fan since they first came to Minnesota. I also hate the Cowboys. I remember the playoff game they stole from the Vikings at Met Stadium. I really hate to be negative but I just don't have a good feeling about Sunday's game. Sure hope I'm wrong. :)
 
i'm a die hard steelers fan and always will be but there is something about brett favre that i love! since my team sucked horribly this season i may just find myself rooting for the vikings to take it all!

The only team I dislike more than the Vikings is the Cowboys so only because of Brett I will be pulling for the Vikings this week. I don't think the Cards can play well back to back but you have to be impressed with Warner-but I'm going with the Saints. I used to root for the Vikes except when they played the Packers when Bud Grant was the Coach and they played outside in Bloomington like a real Viking would. Then they got pussified:p
 
Vikings win in a shootout. I am a die-hard Vikings fan, ever since I was just a youngster. This team is more talented overall at most positions, and it will show on Sunday. Go Vikings.

That must of really hurt to say this :p

Being a Packers Fan also I was hoping for a rematch with Min. oh well.
I will be.... dare I say it ....pulling for the ....Vikings.

Favre is 0-3 vs the Cowboys in the post season so that's not going his way. I do hope that he can make it 1-3 though...
 
I give the edge to the Vikes on three counts:

1. Home field advantage.
2. Bye week rest.
3. QB - I'll bet on Favre over Romo anytime, anywhere.

That being said, the edge could easily be erased by a couple of turnovers.

Non-factor Lee. Those 3 losses were all in Dallas and they were all early in Favre's career while Dallas was on top and the Packers were up and coming.

While I do agree, It's also something that he said in his press conference meaning that it's in his mind. That could and I'm sure will effect his mindset for the game. I do hope that they beat the snot out of Romo though...
 
A lot of people are favoring the cowboys because the vikes had a week off, played a Giants team who didn't care and the Cowboys have beat the eagles 2 times in a row and 3 times this year I believe?

Cowboys have lost in their stadium 2 or 3 times this year! Vikes have not lost at home.

There's a lot of factors that give the vikes the edge as well as the Cowboys. I'm just glad I got good odds on my $
