Vikings

makes me sick

dont deserve to win disgusting performance makes me sick how you can play so bad and still be tied!saint de has so many holes in it how are they even there they got exposed!

Tough loss but one of best games I have ever watched. It WAS the Battle at the Bayou and lived up to billing.

With a few key adds the Vikes could have decked stacked for next year.

Damn hard for Farve to bail out now since he threw that game lossing interception. Ironic that all the guys that bungled the game were ones that got em that far.

Farve really looked tired and beat up but what a player and fighter.

I think it will be hard for Farve NOT to come back next year considering how close they got and the personel he has at his disposal. If they could better develop the running game and a backup quarterback with Farve as mentor that might work. I bet TJack has learned a ton.

How does Mike Vick look in a Vikings uniform???

I was seconds away from a post saying Vikes by 3 cuzz I knew Longwell could win it and then..........

No doubts on the NO FG kicker....that thing could have broke a record it went through with such power...65 yards????

I'm trying real hard today to focus less on the Vikings and more on what's really important, like more pheasant habitat.

The bonehead award, in my opinion, goes to the 12 men in the huddle penalty. That one they did to themselves, which ended up costing the game. I will have to say that almost every fumble was caused by the Saints stripping the ball out, its what they are trained to do and they did a good job of it last night. And the interceptions are often caused by creating pressure in the pocket and again the Saints were doing a good job of that too. That is part of the game, but the 12 men in the huddle - what in the heck was that? Without that penalty there would have been one more running play and a kick to win the game.

In the end though, the Vikes and their football record isn't important - what is important is More Pheasants.

Take away the turnovers and the score would probably have been 42-14 Vikes. Face it, the Saints sucked last night. They didn't get anything done on offense (257 total yards) and their defense gave up 475 yards. I really thought they were a better team than that. If they don't step up their game against the Colts they will get killed. Another SuperBowl blowout.

LM, you are right. That was the "what the heck was that?" play of the game.

Vikes kicked their ass....their own ass.

After coaching football for 15 years, I never lost the game due to the actions of one player...or 12 for that matter...:D! Did somebody say Michael Vick in a Vikings uniform...I'm not a huge Vick fan but that dude can play and they would be an extremely dangerous team with Vick.

They were thinking about doing that with McNabb a few years ago. When they were not doing all that well........Bob

A lot of talent coming out of the college ranks too. Looks at what Sanchez did in his rookie year. Got McCoy, Tebow, Brady.......

Poll said 92% of fans would like to see Farve back. Alot of Vikes players will be lobbying heavy for his return.

Maybe Jeff George will come back:D

Too bad... a Favre-Manning matchup in the Superbowl would have made a great story. It's a shame the Vikes literally fumbled the game away to the Saints because the Vikes were the better team yesterday.

Gotta question for all the Vikes fans here though... Do you guys really believe if Favre retires, there's any way (barring an injury to A-Rod) that Green Bay doesn't win the NFC North next season and beyond? I'll hang-up for your replies... :D

It's safe to say that the NFC North will be tough next year, including Chicago.
Pack and Vikes will be in the playoffs.
With all the talent on the Vikings team, I think will make them the Div champs.
The three teams have 2 automatic wins you know?

If Farve retires then I think Green bay has a very realistic shot at the NFC North title. The big question concerning the Vikes is who would be their starter? Jackson? Rosenfels?

I hate to admit it but it would most likely be one of those two and if not who would they attempt to sign from free agency to take the spot?

I hope T. Jack was taking notes this past season. There was a wealth of knowledge at his disposal, this alone should improve his game ten fold.

T,J. I just don't think it sinks in with him though. He just doesn't have the book smarts to get it done, no matter how much of a physical talent he is. He also can't take hits and keep playing rugbee like that warrior #4. He would have folded up like a wounded duck by 1/2 time at N,O. If he even would have been still playing for the year. If he changes I'll be shocked.

You could be very right Ken. I have a question; The Vikings drafted Booty QB from USC, Where is he and is he an option.......Bob

If they do in fact trade for McNabb, I think they could do better. I don't really know who, but McNabb is NOT the same as having #4.........Bob
