I'm trying real hard today to focus less on the Vikings and more on what's really important, like more pheasant habitat.
The bonehead award, in my opinion, goes to the 12 men in the huddle penalty. That one they did to themselves, which ended up costing the game. I will have to say that almost every fumble was caused by the Saints stripping the ball out, its what they are trained to do and they did a good job of it last night. And the interceptions are often caused by creating pressure in the pocket and again the Saints were doing a good job of that too. That is part of the game, but the 12 men in the huddle - what in the heck was that? Without that penalty there would have been one more running play and a kick to win the game.
In the end though, the Vikes and their football record isn't important - what is important is More Pheasants.
