Vikings

Funny, What about Mike Vick? Mike, Adrian and Percy in the backfield would be fun.
I think more likely McNabb.
You know? the one problem with Brett [actually there's 2] is mobility. If he were a threat to pick up a first down with his feet, defenses would have to play him differently, he wouldn't be cannon fodder like he was in NO.

If Favre does return, all defensive game plans will be to hit the QB.

To bad TJ lacks in toughness. Maybe he will tougher now after a year with Favre.

Totally agree!

BUT, Favre adds so many other variables. Being more mobile would be nice but Cullpepper was mobile and that didn't work. TJack is mobile and he isn't ever going to lead the Vikes to the promised land. Favre needs the offensive line to improve and give him more protection. We have a lot of big guys on the OL but they aren't getting the job done.

A previous posted brought Mike Vick into the equation. Now that would be interesting. Just need to look beyong his past. The guy has a ton of ability.

Looks like Vick is an Eagle and McNabb may be on his way out. So before I say it, don't go all FAVRE on me, but McNabb would have run the ball on that last play, field goal, and Vikings in Super Bowl. McNabb would be a good choice if Favre leaves.

From the latest info that I have seen, McNab is not going anywhere. He pretty much admitted so in an interview. He's perfectly happy where he is and so to are the eagles. I know, never say never, but even if the vikings are interested, they are going to wait till Favre makes a decision one way or the other. That could be this summer and if the remote chance that the Eagles and McNab would want to deal with the vikings, a deal would most likely have to be done sooner rather than later. I could be wrong and Favre may make decision before the draft, which would certainly be a big advantage for Chilly and the crew. Either way it will be interesting to see how this pans out.

To be honest I really think Bret is going to hang it up.

So if McNabb stays in Philly as the starting QB where does that put Vick. I can't believe now that he has been reinstated in the league and spent a season back in football he is going to be satisfied to play backup to McNabb. I would think the Eagles would be looking to deal one of them.

I'm not counting Favre out, just checking out the other options.

The AR. Cardinals are also interested in McNabb. They figure Warner is going to Retire tomorrow.

Why didn't Favre run when he threw the interception? He couldn't, see the after game report. He had 2 bad wrists, 2 bad ankles, one already taped up. One leg severely banged up. Bruises from head to toe. You ask why didn't he RUN, he was doing good to stay in the game and play.

I found the report summery here it is. "He was beat up physically and mentally. He was emotionally drained. Physically, he hurt both wrists, both ankles, one leg, head bruised. He was beat all to hell. That's part of it."............Bob

Look for someone to definitely sign Vick. Whether he would be a fit for the Vikes if Favre leaves.... I dunno.

IF you think about it the Eagles were smart to take Vick. Buy low and sell high. Now that he has played a little, there will be teams looking to take a chance on what he used to be like with the Falcons.

Then there is always the draft. Vikes look for a QB in the 1st or 2nd round, but that wouldn't necessarily help us out in the short run.

I thought this was amusing....

If I am wrong forgive my old memory. But Vick I believe was only signed for 1 year. Which means he is free agent. I don't know if the eagles have rights to him in that contract, Like the "right of first refusal". or something like that. They also have Kolb, who has to be taken into consideration here........Bob
