Lets See Your Dogs..post some pic's

Some very beautiful dogs on here. Wow great pictures!

Ok this should get some laughs and hope everyone has sense of humor... but did you know that the standard poodle (the tall large poodles) were originally breed to be a gun dogs and to retrieve water fowl? Their poodle cut was actually designed by hunters to help them swim more efficiently. I did not see any pictures of a standard poodle on here. Ha ha.

Serioulsy though, there are some very stunning pictures on here. Just simply beautiful dogs everyone.

Really? How cool. I thought it was a lost "art" for the breed. Guess it was not so much of a joke then eh? Hope I did not offend anyone because that was not the intent. I am finding this forum to be very informative that is for sure. :)

We encounter many breeds, so I should know better than to just blurt stuff like that out there. Heck, we even had a couple American Water Spaniels come in this last summer. I certainly love learning about all the different breeds and their histories. Sorry if I offended anyone.

I don't think I've posted this one here....

This is one of Indy from today on a quail. He will be 7 months tomorrow.
Wish we would have had better bird numbers this year. He has made good progress especially with as few birds as we are getting into.

My cousin took one of our puppies and is now going through a rough patch so we took him in. He flushed his first 2 quail today at 7 months old. He was a bit hesitant at first but found and flushed both birds and gave a nice chase on the second one. Formal obedience will start next week (once he is settled) and I'm going to start a chain gang for some serious field training for all of them. Here is my starting line up (new pup buddy front and center).
