He was a big boy. 102 lbs.
THE best dog I ever hunted over.
His name was Max and I had to have him put down five years ago.
He was equally skilled at upland and waterfowl hunting.
Multiple blind retrieves were no problem and he would follow a wounded bird to the end of the earth. Rarely lost birds with him.
He was a bull dozer and would plow through cover so thick a man couldn't walk through it.
He was a great dog and I will hold him high forever.

These are some of my favourites from North Dakota last year. We just got back from our trip, so my wife should have some on here site soon. She's the photographer, I just shoot the birds (or at least towards them).

Here's one I took of my dad yesterday at dusk. Someday I'll buy a decent camera.

Love looking through the pics on here, great stuff guys. This is from a goose hunt on Friday, before heading west for the opener. First waterfoel hunt with the Sony action cam, took some good video also.

Chips gotten into trouble lately. Sunday he got skunked then today he got cooned. This was taken with a burst and then cropped so it doesn't really qualify. I thought it was funny though,,chip was like oh crap! flying racoon! Man he got his butt kicked:D

That raccoon looks like a deranged lunatic. Hopefully your pup didn't get scratched up. I am tired of the raccoons, skunks, and porcupines.

We were hunting one day and three deranged raccoons were heading right at us across an open field, not bothered at all by the sight of hunters with guns or the three dogs on the ground. Those are some crazy animals, glad Chip came out alright. Great pic btw.
