From a couple years ago in SD. I took this myself with a tripod and camera timer.

On a Blue grouse adventure. Can't beat the High Country that time of year!!

Stunning photos. Have bagged some blues (now duskies) in the past. A great eating bird who lives in beauty.

Still mourning the loss of my beloved Ruby this spring, all the while enjoying the antics of my new pup Pearl, I have been fortunate to be invited to hunt over others' fine dogs, including my new best friend "Ginger". She's an spirited gal, but my goodness does she ever have a tenacious and infallible nose for birds!

I have not been to the site in a while..fantastic photo's everybody. Lots of memories being made. Keep them coming.

Here's a scene I snapped a photo of (this morning) after a quick hunt here in IL. It was a cold, yet beautiful morning to hunt wild pheasants.:)

this shot was taken at end of the day in Kansas while prairie chicken hunting this past September...

North Dakota rooster pointed by Jag....these moments I save in my memory and they are what drive me to keep going out....I think it's what keeps ALL of us going.
