I hunted in two different areas this year-Southcentral near Gregory and Northeast around Watertown. I personally saw vast amounts of birds in Gregory, and more than normal from the past 5 years around the Waterown area. I heard it was tough Northcentral, west of Aberdeen towards the river...

Looks like ND is due to have one-third of its total enrolled CRP land expiring this September-one million acres out of 3.3 million. Has any one been monitoring the situation? Is the state preparing to help out the landowners? Anyone from ND have information?

Have not heard as much about Nebraska pheasant hunting results this year as I have heard about other states. Anyone have any feedback or photos?

Down in South Dakota, we know how the snow fall around Fort Peck affects our reservoirs down river. Were you hit as hard by the drought this last summer? Did it affect bird numbers? How has the winter been so far?

As was indicated by this years roadside survey's and the harvest reports, the results of Pheasants Forever, landowners and farmers, and other conservation groups has paid off so far! It was great to see a great up-swing in bird counts over the last couple of years. How was your hunt this year?
