As was indicated by this years roadside survey's and the harvest reports, the results of Pheasants Forever, landowners and farmers, and other conservation groups has paid off so far! It was great to see a great up-swing in bird counts over the last couple of years. How was your hunt this year?
 
We had some excellent hunting in Stevens and Traverse counties in mid-November. We saw LOTS of birds. Just like SD, most of the birds were pretty skittish and flushed wild so we just had to let the dogs work and find the ones that were hunkered down.
