Awesome. Great to see team that goes through a playoff system beat a team that plays in a division that determines a champion by individuals voting without athletic backgrounds. Goes to show you what is wrong with college football and why I refuse to watch it. Pittsburg State has always been the dominate team in Kansas. Highest winning percentage of any team in the nation and any division. Kstate and Snyder has never accomplished anything outside their weak conference.

NDSU played great and the Cats played as bad as they could have. It was a great win for the Bison, but lets not get carried away.

The Bison have a great program! But they should not beat KSU. They are I think 7-2 against FBS teams. There is no reason for K-State or any other FBS teams to play down a level. It makes no sense! Nothing to gain, even if it is 70-0 ! everything to lose, even if it is by 1 point !!! That loss will guarantee K-State will not play for the Championship! Just like when Appalachian State beat Michigan!!! Does not matter if they run the table. It will not happen!!! Play CU or some other crap team that is in the FBS. If they had lost to a Pac 12 team or any other FBS team they still would have a shot!!!

My point is that college football is a joke. It is the only sport where the champion is determined by an election. That is all the polls are. A mid major will never have an opportunity to even compete for a national title. At least teams like NDSU, Pittstate, Northwest Missouri State get to go through a playoff system and actually earn a national titled. Really, college football or WWE wrestling, about one in the same.

its what they get and deserve for playing those weak ass teams kstte has to play those cupcakes so they can have a great recored on paper and then when they do get to a mediocre bowl they get there ass handed to them one loss in the big 12 wont get you to the title gme bleu and as weak as the 12 is knowbodys going anywhere there! Now you have a one loss in the sec and win the sec championship game your playing for a national title !!

One thing for sure, this is was one of the most embarrassing loses in college football history and it really should open the eyes to the NCAA for the need of a playoff system. It just goes to show that on any given day a mid major can beat a big time school. Football should be decided on the field and not in the newspaper. The only way to get the NCAA to implement a playoff system is for everyone to quit watching on tv and quit attending bowl games. I have not watched a college football game in years and never watch a bowl game.

We play them the week after (UMASS) this week it is Louisiana Lafayette which is not a bad team. I am actually quite nervous about the game. Not as nervous as I was before the NDSU game, but pretty concerned.
I think any other fan base who's team has never experienced an embarrassing loss should step forward please. By the way Kevin Kietzman, the WHB radio soothsayer of all K-State lore, said that he would bet that if K-State only gave up 24 points per game, they would win all the rest, because there offense is that dominant! What????

I couldn't agree more! Only a pointer why don't you talk about Alabama/sec on a KU basketball thread and see how far that gets you. We all know Alabama and the sec are good at football but we just don't give a shit. this is a thread about Kstate football and the big 12.
