Oklahoma State will beat Mu also. Nebraska took out Georgia. Alabama's offensive line was to fat and slow, hence Ou's 7 sacks.

Might want to wait till the games are played. S.E.C. 7-3. Big-12 3-3, and one and one against the S.E.C. SEC has 6-7 of the top 10 signed, 8-9 of the top 15, A late signing Oklahoma City's Deondre Clark, signed with Auburn out recruited Oklahoma. By the way Nebraska is not in the Big-12, went to 2-7 Big Rusty. Might as well count Missouri's and Texas A&M as conference victories. Basketball, however, if you get by Florida, and Kentucky, they are woefully bad.

I'm aware Nebraska isn't in the b12. Was pointing out they beat an sec team they weren't suppose to. The SEC didn't perform as well as they were expected to I don't care how you want to spin it.

I guess I'll spin that there 10 bowl teams, 7 won. Those are numbers the Big-12 would be giddy about! I think Georgia was the 3rd place team in the east. Lost by 3 points to Nebraska, I'm not sure Georgia outranked them? Last December Georgia won by 3 points or so, over Nebraska. I guess the 10 point loss from Alabama, and the 3 point loss from Auburn in the national championship game ( note NOT Against a Big-12 team), foretell doom and gloom in the SEC? Watch the NFL draft day selections. It's a brutal conference, who will compete day in and day out with teams who's last 4-6 recruiting years are better than your best one. Coaching makes a difference, (Snider), but the talent level is a good substitute for coaching acumen.

Monday night was a great atmosphere in the Octagon of Doom. My ears were ringing all night, and my voice still isn't back yet. It was a really hard fought basketball game with injuries on both sides, and lots of emotion. The Cats should have sealed the deal in regulation, but I was very impressed that they kept their composure in overtime and held on for the win.

I watched the second half again on ESPNU this morning, and it still got my nerves going!

I hope the best for all the B12 teams about a month from now. Hopefully we'll have a good showing in the tourney this year.

About the SEC... I don't think anybody is saying the SEC sucks. But the media would have you believe they walk on water and perform other such miracles. Watching the college football shows the last couple years it has been, "Alabama, Johnny Football, Alabama, Johnny Football, but wait we need to talk more about Alabama,,, and after this commercial, more about Johnny Football..." :nutz:

When Alabama didn't make it to the national championship, it was like the media didn't even know how to process that... And when Oklahoma controlled the game and beat them, and an SEC team didn't win the national title, and Johnny Football didn't repeat for the Heisman??? Gosh, maybe they are human after all...

7-3 in bowls, and a great football conference? Absolutely. The only conference that plays great football? Definitely not!

Dang, let that one get away. We just don't seem to know how to close out the game on the road yet. Really could have used Southwell tonight.

But all things considered, they are having a pretty good season with all the young players.
