Here's kinda my plan

Pheasant hunting has caused a regression in my life, as in I brush all else aside at an opportunity to hunt. I don't see it this way, but I've got rose colored glasses on when I think about just one more chance to follow behind Skye as her tail wiggles sniffing 'round for a loafin' rooster. What I'm trying to say is, as long as the season is still open somewhere, I can't get it off my mind. Between the long range forecast and tryin' to finagle a few days off, If I can swing it, I'll be out somewhere in a (hopefully) lonely field in South Dakota looking for one more pheasant. Skye turned 10 a few days ago, but she's been hunting all season, is doing good, and I know she'd love to go. I know one thing I'll never regret is spending just a little more time with her out on the prairies and wetlands.

I am hitting the road for SD as soon as the e school buss departs.
I'm not optimistic about the weather but we will make the best of it.

Yeah the weather is pretty nasty here today and through the weekend. Things look better starting Monday. I'm gonna get out either tomorrow or Sunday. Probably Sunday since the wind chill is supposed to be minus-20 at 10am on Sat.
