Me and buddy went back to family ground in northwest kansas..Hunted a day and we saw around 60 pheasants and about 4 covey day and few single and double quail..overall just got to work hard for birds..quail are up..but pheasants i still think are down..but still alright

Hunted with 2 buddies on family ground in north central ks..quail numbers are really good shot quite a few..dog did great! Pheasants even with this cold front were still flying wild ahead weren't even holding tight I guess that's the beauty of late season ! Still bagged a rooster! But overall...
