Vikings

I will make a prediction. I live in Washington, Seaturkeys as we call them LOSE BIG TIME.
They are so bad I don't even turn their games on anymore........Bob

bOB YOU WANT TO talk bad have you looked at that highschool team the chiefettes now that is a disgusting team! GO VIKES i like the bengals to

With all of these supposed BAAAAAADDDD teams this year ala Rams, chiefs, Redskins, Lions, Seahawks, Browns and Bucs etc... I can't help but wonder how many coaching vacancies there will be at the end of the season.

Well my prediction came true, The Vikings won. The way the game started, I thought the Vikes were going to blow it. Their play was plain downright sloppy. Then they turned it around and and played pretty decent. Farve sets record on his passing today, Man what a QB. I wonder if he'll come back for the second year of his contract?.........Bob

Boy that is the million dollar question. One thing is for sure, you aren't going to hear him make a decision until next summer most likely .:D

If the Vikings go on to the Super Bowl and win, my bet is he finally throws in the towel. If he stays healthy and we either get to the championship game and or go to the Super Bowl but lose, it's still 50/50 IMO.

What about those Lions.... 38-37 over the bad bad leroy browns.

Stafford with 420 something yards passing. I predict the Lions over the Packers on Thanksgiving.

Birdshooter, you could be right he has been to the Super Bowl twice. Green Bay lost both times. But he is having so much fun, he has a 25 million 2 year contract. So he could come back just for the fun of it. The Saints are going to be hard to beat for the Vikes to get to the Super Bowl.

I think that unless Favre has some kind of injury that he will be back regardless. While watching the game today with my wife I commented that Favre just looks like he's having a lot of fun and she said she was thinking the same thing. He's probably playing with one of the best teams he has ever been with. The Vikings and Saints in the NFC championship game will be quite a game.

George, you raise a good point, that the Championship Game will be quite a game. I agree. I thought Brees got the shaft when he was cut by the chargers. I have been pulling for him to do good. But come the Championship game if it is those 2 playing. It is going to be a tough call for me. BUT I was born in Minnesota and lived there for 36 years......Bob

Packers beat the patriots in 96 at superbowl 31(I think thats the right one) with Favre.

The packers will beat the vikings in the playoffs.

Actually Bob, Green Bay won Super Bowl XXXI but lost Super Bowl XXXII. A lot can happen between now and the playoffs but as long as Favre doesn't have to play in cold weather, he'll probably play well. The young Favre thrived in cold weather. The older Favre, well... that's another story.

You could be right Tom. The Packers are 12-18-2 on Thanksgiving. Lombardi HATED playing on Thanksgiving. He knew going on the road on two days of practice was a good way to lose a football game. The Packers lost CB Al Harris and DE Aaron Kampman for the season today (both - torn ACL's) but IMO, Harris is overrated and Kampman hasn't really been able to fit into the 3-4 defense. I think the Packers hit their low point in Tampa Bay two weeks ago and will be ready to play on Thursday.

See my old memory was wrong, Thank you for correcting me. I really thought they lost them both. Yes, it sure showed in the playoffs last year he didn't like the cold anymore. But if they keep this winning up they could be playing a lot of the games at home.......Bob

9-1!!! 9-1!!!
Would love to know after the season if Brett Favre says whether or not this is the most talented group he as ever played with.

Vikings would crush the Packers in the playoffs. Favre 3 Packers 0.
Kampman and Harris out, that really hurts the Pack.

This team is on a roll. Lots and lots of weapons.

I believe losing Harris is a bigger factor than Kampman, Kampman look confused about the new 3-4 defense, but all the Pack has to do is win 4 more maybe 5 games, then it's on to Minn. and the pressure will be on Min. can you say FRAN TARKINGTON !! :p

First game they played this year 1 less dropped pass, and a without the bs pass interference call would have put the packers as the winners. Not complaining cause thats football but it does point out that the vikings aren't that much better than the packers. They didn't exactly crush em either game. Harris and Kampman aren't doing that much this year compared to years past. Hopefully we get to find out and they do really meet in the playoffs.

dude wake up packers arent even in same level meaning vikes are looking down not even close you can say all you want dropped passes whatever that secondary is so terribe #4 will torch them all night and he isnt the best qb around!

WTH, Explain this, the Vikings are 9-1. The Packers are 6-4. If they are as good as the Vikings, Then why isn't the packers record 9-1 also?........Bob
