One word describes the Vikings/Ravens game today. LUUUUUUUCKY !!!

Wow... That defense today reminded me of some of the defenses from the Denny Green days. pathetic :eek:

I totally agree Birdshooter. They were lucky as billy blue to pull that one out the way the defense wasn't playing at all. They were lucky #4 had some good receivers make some catches for him......Bob

Too many times settled for field goals when had a comfortable lead. Could not believe Vikes were going to settle for a field goal and 2 point lead with 2 minutes remaining. Should have passed the ball?!

you guys are brutal lol got probably 2nd or 3rd best team in football and complaining look what i have the sorry pitiful chiefs lets trade,did i tell you guys how great #4 is

vikes vs. ravens halftime contest

anybody at the game watch the half time contest ? my cousin was in it and won a SD pheasant hunting trip with Chad Greenway for 3 people . hes taking me and his son.:cheers:

I don't think were complaining, just cautiously optimistic. The vikings most likely should be 4-2 right now, but with a little luck and the baby jesus thrown in ala (San Fran last second Farve hail mary and a missed field goal by the Ravens with seconds on the clock) were 6-0. The rest of the teams we've played I think when added together don't have as many wins as the Vikings.

If we beat the Steelers in their park, I will be a believer that we are a legitimate top contender. The defense still has to show that it can play 4 quarters as even the Browns and especially the Rams were able to move the ball convincingly at times. And we won't even mention the last quarter of the Ravens game. :eek:

We shall see.

Hey ! your chiefs beat the Redskins, that's a start....:D

LOL. Your chiefs are brutal... yeah. Viking fan's have had years of brutal crappy teams, so it's about time the team is good. 1998 was a interesting year for viking fans. I'll never forget that. I went to school at Mankato State and that's where they had training camp. They waltzed around like they were going to win the super bowl. 1 problem... a certain kicker missed 1 field goal all year... which was the most important.

Anyway, I'm not a viking fan being from Mn, but I'm glad to see the state cheering on their team. I'm just happy to watch a interesting game for once in my life. I've seen years of Tommy Kramer, Wade Wilson, Rich Gannon, Warren Moon, Brad Johnson, Jeff George, Randall Cunningham, Dante Culpepper, Gus Frerotte, TJack... oh and did I forget Jim McMahon? Wow, it's been brutal. Now MN gets a guy who's 40 now] and he's the best QB the state has seen since Fran!!!!
 
Webguy, When the vikes went and got Warren Moon to be their savior, I gave up and moved to the Packers, 49's and a few others I liked. They are starting to win me back, I have always liked Brett.......Bob

Webguy, nice trip down memory lane.....

I've always beena Vikes fan. Never so much as when Les Tes-Tekle was the head coach. hehehehe.

There will be a lot of believers if the Vikes beat Pitt in thier house next week.

Well good for you Bob that you switched to the Pack and the 49'ers. Much better teams over the last few decades. Yeah, Brett's the man.

Who's whining? Just cautiously optimistic that's all. I'm not ready to send them to the Super Bowl just yet... We've been let down before.

I'm not ready to judge the whole season after 6 games. Lets just see how it pans out. They are a good team, much better in fact with Mr. Favre. Let's hope they can continue this into December when playing good at that time IMO carries over into the post season. ;)
