Looks like this weather just won't let up. Earlier it looked like this latest crap was going to miss us out here in Aberdeen but now they are saying we could get 4-8 inches of snow. 
I checked the forecast for Granite Falls and it doesn't appear they are going to get much, maybe 1-3 inches. Let's hope that holds true.

I wish it was that easy. But the preserve may not be open for business due to the snow cover. I'll be calling the preserve tomorrow and see what they have to say. Stay tuned.

UPH Hunt Update
We were going to make a decision on the UPH Hunt by now but the weather has really thrown a wrench into things. I did visit with the Minnesota Heartland Preserve today and conditions are not good at this time. The forecast for the area is cold temps until the middle of next week so we likely will see little melting between now and then. The people at the preserve were not real optimistic about April 2nd. I have visited with Lee and we have decided to wait until the middle of next week before we make a final decision. If we are forced to cancel the April 2nd date our backup date is April 16th.
We appreciate everyone's patience in this matter but Mother Nature has really played a dirty trick on us. We would appreciate hearing from all the were planning to come and get your thoughts. So let us know.
In the meantime, pray for sun and warm temps!

I personally would LOVE for it to be delayed. I think it would be quite sloppy with the weather the way its been. Plus, I got snookered into working on the 2nd and I have been quite bummed about not being able to make it.

What are the thoughts of others? I hope weather is good and we can run dogs April 2 but I would be there on the 16 also. Either weekend is good for me.
Maybe we could move the starting time up and have a pancake breakfast and Lazlo can bring the syrup

I have farm fresh eggs too!
I will bring u a jar but it will have to be from 2010 not cooking yet the 2011. Heck it isn't even running good ....froze solid!

I dont think the 16th will work for me. Sorry guys. I cant believe they are not open to the best of my knowledge most of the other preserves are. Im going to one tomorrow and I know Horse and Hunt said they were in full swing. Let me know the final decesion and I will see what I can work out.

I think no matter what its going to be wet and sloppy ! I would prefer the 2nd but if it does work for the group then the 16th it is :cheers:

We have not changed the date as of yet this is more of a heads up. They got more snow then we did this year and with the slow melt this week?? We are just trying to keep all informed. We will call again early next week and should know by Wed.
