My most favorite hunt to date

Yeah, it was on the game farm, and I didn't make any miraculous shots, but you can probably see why I had so much fun!

I am trying my hardest to get my 6 year old daughter to not turn into a complete girly girl. Pretty much the reason I went with a pointing dog. She had a blast. She was walking through the grass going "wonder where that bird is", and when he went on point she would creep over with me. Even the wife had a good time and said she would go along again. Thinking by next season she will be a bit taller and able to walk some of the non game farm land we hunt. Santa might even bring her a BB gun this year......don't tell Mom :D

That's really cool. She is a cutie. I am afraid I failed with my daughter. She will fish, and will eat game. But she wants nothing to do with hunting. Kinda weird with two older brothers, but maybe she will be a late bloomer:).

Awesome hunt! Here's to many more memories made with your daughter.

LOL better be careful with MOM an the bbgun. Bin there done that and it wasn't pleasant. LOL best of luck my friend. I hate sleeping in the dog house.

What a splendid day that must have been. Memories both of you will cherish forever.

I too get a real satisfaction when I get the chance to bring a youngster out for a day in the field for the first time. Teaching them about the outdoors and what hunting is all about and to see the look on their face when they eventually get to shoot their first bird is priceless.

Hope she continues to enjoy times afield with you as she gets older.

Very nice. You are doing good.

My two daughters are boring old adults now, but during those pricesless years we created some of the most vivid memories, and I found the most frequent joy, just being with the kids as their minds developed and interests grew.

Wonderful day, great picture, nice life.

Daughters are so good to have.
Our oldest daughter, is crazy about fishing, hiking, camping, and runs marathons :eek:
She decided not to hunt, Loves my pics and sharing hearing about my adventures though.
Best thing, She and SIL have a two bedroom apartment at Marina del Rea CA.
We, my bride and I can stay as long as we like.
We're in N MN. Winters in Marina del Rea are kinda pleasant. :)

Understood with such nice huntin' buds.

I don't have any sons, but one of my daughters hunts with me. The best part of it is as they get older they look for opportunities to hang with dad and hunt! That makes for good girls who don't get into trouble. You are a good dad Mos! Keep it up.

Very nice! She's a cutie...the boys are gonna be knocking down your door in a few years!
