Lets See Your Dogs..post some pic's

Mr Hyde - "copy of Mac1" is one of my favourite lab shots in this great thread - nice work!

Thanks for the complement Croc, But I have a confession to make, Mac is a Chesapeake Bay Ret.

As I hit "post" I kinda wondered about his caramel coat... Anyhow - a beaut of a pic of a beaut of a dog nonetheless!

gunner

here is a couple more after the hunt

Rusty and Daisy. The pic of my golden is old, but still my favorite pic of him. Daisy is a registered wirehair, but somehow ended up with short hair. recessive gene?

That's what happens when a dog is forced to ride in a FORD...:D...not really, I'm just still working on a joke from another member. GREAT pics!

Nice pics Toad! Got to say though that I drove a GM truck all my life till last year and bought a Ford. Am really impressed. Still like the Chevys though. But the Ford has all the works I need and very comfy! I wont mention the reason for switching, even though GM spun me off to Delphi!! Thanks for the pics again!

Rod:cheers:

Mazzie says that is the oldest Pudelpointer joke in the book.
OK I was still confused I thought puddle pointer was a comic name for a lab, After I saw Mr Hydes pics. but now you thought I was Jokeing, I need to get out more. I now went and googled the name and that was easy to find out you guy's were realy serious. Sorry if I seemed to be ribbing, I realy never had herd of them before. Interesting.Learn something new every day. :coolpics:

as of last week he wieghed in at 128 lbs and doesn't turn 2 till may. took him out today at a perserve he took the 1st 2 birds out of the air at about 4 feet.
saved at least 2 rounds there. yeah he's a real big dog but I think he's about done growing.(i hope)

Let me guess? Extrapolating from your site-name I'm going to hazard a guess that his name is 'Bo'? Either way, he sure is a monster! I am looking at my 72 lb girl sleeping off this morning's training session and trying to picture a lab that size!

Name does fit him, but his name is Big Dog, he was 72 lbs at 9 months, been working him hard lately so he' only 128, this summer might be different but run all 4 labs at least 2 miles every day(I ride the 4 wheeler) but he'll put on another 20 to 30 lbs during the summer but 120 to 130 he's in shape. he'll do about 145 this summer the vet says and should be done growing by may at 2 years old.(I hope)

yeah I've been told that, been running them for about a year with the 4 wheeler but just had a total knee replacement in Jan. 09, so i'm thinking I ain't cheating that much. Every sat urdat and sunday I'll take them on a 3 1/2 mile walk along the creek with the new buffer zone that the farmers are starting to put in here in Indiana, seen the bird #'s up for the first time in about 10 years, these things do help the birds.

I have a Golden thats 115 lbs - I know I know youve all heard it a million times but there isnt an ounce of fat on him and I have no idea where his size came from. His 5 gen pedigree doesnt show any dogs close to his size. Yes he hits the thick stuff pretty hard so I guess it works out. He's very athletic.
