Fuel prices

Went up in Aberdeen today too. 3.29 for 10% ethanol, 3.39 for regular and 3.49 for premium. I went to the blender pump and put in 20% ethanol at 3.10. I don't have a flex fuel vehicle but all vehicles are suppose to handle 20% ethanol. However, not sure about the trade-off in mileage. Oh well, the mileage on the '04 Expedition sucks anyway.

I am actually surprised that gas isn't higher with all of the crap going on in the world.

From what I hear our supplies are up right now and with a down ecconomy that must be making some inverstors nevous. Though I'm with you on your point. --1pheas4

Uguide, how do you like that TDI wagon? I've been thinking about one but concerned about 3 fighting kids in it and possible ground clearance on those iffy roads.

paid 3.05 2 days ago.. happened to notice the price lastnight on my way home..3.16

these gas prices are gunna slow down the ol fishin this summer :( if i didnt have to put gas in the truck AND the boat it wouldnt be as bad

I remember how this went last go round. When gas and diesel hit $4.00 or higher I will buy a real cheap F350 crew cab diesel.

Until then I will keep driving my 2010 VW Jetta TDI Wagon.

ZZzzzZZZZzzzzoooooommmmmmmm!

Yep thats why I have my little F escort wagon as well. 4 squirrels 4 doors and 4 dogs in it. oops actualy 5 doors.

just paid 3.28 for 10%. hey coot sell a load of corn

I farmed enough years to know high prices don't last forever. I'm saving for the next down turn in price. I remember the days of very low prices and how hard it was. He who forgets is the one most likely to fail. And I hate giving money to oil companies when I know all their doing is riping us off.

Yes, back when I lived in St.Paul, MN. I can remember the "Gas Wars" heck gas for .20 cents a gal. was common. That was pure gas too, none of this ethanol junk. Now most of our gas price is taxes. If we could repeal all Fed, state and local taxes I wonder what the price would be............Bob

Just paid $3.49 a gallon for some good ole' winter blend diesel! I'm sure glad I traded my gasser in for this diesel... :D:D I don't think that I'll ever have a gas pickup again though!

I filled up here in Northern Colorado for 2.90/gallon a couple of days ago, but many stations are up over 3.00. It appears that our prices here are a bit lower than the rest of the nation for now.
I can remember paying 19.9 cents a gallon back when I was a teenager...man, I'm getting old.
Back in those days you could fill your tank, take a girl to the movies, buy a pizza afterwards and still have a little left over. Pretty soon about all a twenty will be good for is toilet paper if this damn inflation continues.
