Cat Win!

Colorado left the Big 12 because the conference money was not being drisbuted equally. Texas,Texas,Texas! Easier schedule???? Rated the toughest schedule in the country!!

Easy, Bleu, eeeeeazy...:D That first half of my post was a bit tongue-in-cheek. No offense intended to your beloved buffs.

Out of curiosity, I did look up strength of schedule, and CU was #19.... No Big 12 school had a schedule as easy as CU. Also, no Big 12 school had an easier schedule than Alabama or LSU (up to this point). That may change after they face-off. :D

Confused!!! Are you saying that no big 12 team has a easier schedule then C.U.??? Or as Difficult???

My feathers are not ruffled at all!!! C.U. , Kansas, And Minn could play each other and probably tie 2-2 or 62-62. We are bad, but the right guys are their to fix it. Talent level there now is not good.We could lose to a Div I AA team!!!

I was saying that CU has an easier schedule than anybody in the big 12 according to this source.

If this source is reliable, I'm understanding it correctly, and I didn't miss any Big 12 teams, then CU is on easy street.:D

Just now I looked at another "power ranking" website that put CU in about the bottom 2/3 of the Big 12 in terms of strength of schedule. The only poll I saw that gave their schedule any respect was a preseason poll. But honestly I don't know which polls are trustworthy and which ones are BS.

I don't follow too much outside of the Big 12, which includes Colorado, the PAC, and the SEC. Just stirring the pot a bit.

Well we will see how good we really are today.
OU is going to be on the top of their game after loosing last week.

GO CATS

Gonna be a GREAT game today fellas.....OU laid a major egg last week....I wonder if they are gonna be ready for this?!? They's better be, because once again, under Bill Snyder, the Cats are for real. As much as I hate to admit it. Bill Snyder is friggin' good. May the best team win. Goooooooo Soooooooooners!!!!!!!!!

It didn't look good at the start, but this has turned into a ball game.
OU can score pretty easy on us, so we are going to need another turn over to win I think.

SetterNut,

It was a Good first half for Cats. I saw a team with a lot of heart and a great coach. :10sign: I just hope that an OU fan like me can still hunt in the great State of KS.

That may be a tough, I sure wouldn't have an OU sticker on your truck :D

When we didn't get in the end-zone and missed the field-goal, then gave up the 3 after the fumble just before half, that really hurt. Then we couldn't move the ball, and OU got out front and it was all over.

I think we will have some trouble with OSU, but the rest of the games we have I like our chances. Good luck to the Sooners

Horrible game... KSU got their ass handed to them. I was afraid of this when OU lost last week at home.

We have zero (0) talent, compared to the bigger schools, just well coached which kept us undefeated until today. And yes you OU fans can still thank us as most of your coaching staff came from Kansas State.

It's a shame we can't attract better talent for whatever reason. That's my biggest beef with my alma mater - lack of effort it would seem getting top recruits. The bottom feeder junior transfer scheme will not win a national championship, and it showed today.

Lopsided losses are discouraging but I wouldn't bridge jump yet. College ball is more about matchups and game breaks, forcing the other team to play at your tempo and style. K-State has been able to do that this year, till now. Once behind forced to play scramble to catch up, and can't milk the clock. Lots more talent on the K State side than they get credit for. Snider an excellent evaluator of talent that fits the system he wants to play. He would probably agree, two years back in, that he's a few playmakers on both sides of the ball away from being a legitimate heavy weight. Your still 7-1, even if your 7-2 after next week, it's a heck of a good start. Lots K State NFL alumni, testify to getting the job done. Stoops, and Brown get their pick of recruits, neither of them is going to win a national title this year either. Both with one each, now a while ago, and don't look anywhere close now. Oklahoma on most days is lucky to punch it in from the red zone, flawed like almost all spread teams at scoring from in close, because of lack of a power running game. Now with walk on Whaley gone, no running attack at all.

We have had and do have some very good talent, just not as much on this team as we would like.

This is only Bill's 3rd season back in control, and we are getting better each year. As compared to Ron Prince teams that got worse as time went by.

That game got away from us and we don't have a quick score offense. Just the way it is.

People need to remember that this is not a great team, yet. We started out a weak team and have gotten better and better.

Nobody would have thought this team would be 7-1 at the start of the year.
If we don't win another game this season it would be a success in my book. But we are going to win several more games. For crying out loud we are tied for 2nd in the Big 12 and beat both KU and MU already. It was just one game.

Our QB was not the same after he got sandwiched. You could tell he was playing hurt. That doesn't excuse everything that happened, but I think it definitely contributed to the rout. KSU depends on long, sustained drives and milking the clock. Once that went away....

OUch... Can't keep the game close when OU can score at will and we keep giving them the ball back.

Hang in there, CATS! Plenty more challenges ahead. But anything can happen in college football. Heck, the Cyclones demolished TTU, the same TTU that handled OU just a week ago. Go STATE!

Excellent points! :) What amazes me is that Tech walks in to Norman and leaves with a W, then goes back home to Lubbock and gets destroyed by the Cyclones.
