Yep, still working the same job and living in the same place. Dad's doin' good, he left the farm though to go back to truckin'. Jobs haven't been easy for his wife to come by out there, so he needed to make more $ to cover everything.

Tuck is 11 now, and Gavin is 8. Both love bird hunting with me and I know they'd be excited to have you son join us next season if the opportunity presents itself. I still have access down in Pawnee county, but I've not been down this season. I'm planning to go a day or 2 after Christmas. We've done the majority of our hunting N of Salina this year.

I sure hope everything keeps moving in the right direction for you guys......don't forget, priority #1 is keeping the little guy by your side....I'm not sure anything else matters so long as he's happy and healthy and you guys are together. Keep your head up, it's already working for you!

Anyway, how the heck are you? Damn! Its good to hear from you again! I see the youngins are getting absolutely huge! My little guy is 10 now, and I think he'll be ready to go with me next year. I guess you have the same job and still live the same place? How's your dad? I really got a kick outta him. Hey buddy....awesome to hear from you!!! I've been doing a LOT of reading, trying to get caught up before I make my return public, lol. My son and I had moved in with my Grandma, and for the last year and a half, we didn't have cable, internet, and just barely had any cell phone coverage, not to mention I had to drive over an hour each way to get to work, and to get my boy to school. It's been pretty rough...I had a six month period where I lost my job, my family, my house, then blew the motor in my car. I figured if I can make it through that, I pretty much can handle anything life throws this way, lol. We moved back to Tulsa a couple of months ago, and are in the process of starting over from scratch, but we're getting there by golly! I've been dying to come up and hunt, but hadn't got the chance yet. I don't have Freckles anymore, because I had to find her a new home when Medusa and me split up. I'll make it back one way or another....

hey stacy no problem,opening weekend was fun ended up with 5 birds in 2 days,i thought that was pretty good concidering hunting alone and no dog on sat sun i hunted with a friend from work and hit my private land me 3 him 2 birds.i havent got to hunt as much as i would like been busy workin,take care and hopefully you can get back to ks soon.

I heard you took the pup to a WIHA field on the way back to get the bad (shocking) taste out of your dog's mouth. Good move! That should help her forget. It is snowing like crazy here right now.....sure wish we were out today.
