My veteran dog Lilah gives the pup Molly a dirty look and a good old fashion sticking the tongue out for an attempted invasion of photographic glory. It isn't hard to figure out who put this bird up.

Kansas Pheasants

I hunted on the first day of the year with a friend and his two sons. Trapper pointed and Bodie backed on about 18 pheasants on a WIHA. My friend's son missed a fair opportunity on the flush.

Bella's first trip to SD and her first pheasant retrieve from both land and water, not bad for an 1.5 yr old pup.

Sometimes I just carried a camera to get the intensity and fun of hunting with our Epagneul Breton, Abbie Joie. We only hunted locally in eastern Iowa this year, but it was a good season.
