LMAO!!!!! Great post.
NOW TELL US HOW YOU REALLY FEEL!
What I have found is that there are good and bad dogs in every breed.
Britts used to be real popular in this area back in the 1980's, I dont run across many of them any more. You never used to see any Vizsla, and none of those hunted much, but now I have seen and hunted with several that I would be proud to own.
But the common tread to the good dogs is they have owners that have some idea of what they are doing and they get thier dogs into birds.
the story so far:
-GSP 's are the only dog worth owning.
-would some mind elaborating on their pudel pointer?
-california quail are tame?
-brittanys make good pets.
-GSP's are the only dog worth owning.
did i miss anything?
hey guys, i just got warned again and i am pissed. anyway what i'd like to do is throw this out to you. the warning came concerning what is the good and bad breeds and i have been accused of bad mouthing your particular breed, and or your particular dog, maybe even you as a hunter/trainer, who knows. i have re-read most of my post, true i have picked on a number of subjects, dogs included, stated some pretty well know facts in general concerning certain breeds. it was noted that maybe my problem is that i have had bad experiences with certain breeds, i have not. some stack up better than others and you all know that. i have been charged with trashing breeds, particular dogs and arguing with the various posters. i happen to think that none of this is true, all has been tongue in cheek and lively. if i have truly hurt your feelings, sorry, but most of this has been in fun and no arguments have incurred with anyone and that the moderator is out of line, not me. if you want me to shut up, let me know, maybe i'll change or just go away so ya all can be happy. i don't think it is up to one guy to shut someone up cause he can't stand the heat. if you all think i am wrong, i'll believe you. if any of you have truly read my post you will note that while i pick on a breed i never leave off without saying something good about it, even springers for that matter, some britts and there are a lot of them, included, god knows there is a smart setter out there, could be a pointer also that didn't get lost on its last hunt or a lab that hunted ahead of its owner instead of behind him. i don't feel that i have ever argued with anyone nor been nasty with you or your dogs but some of my repies have been less than friendly. you are probably lucky that i am not picking on your wife or girlfriend. in fairness with the moderator, i tried to answer his private letter to me but wasn't smart enough to figure out how to send the reply. he will have to read it here but don't believe he is reading much. anyway, you can let me know either in other post or privately, you don't have to listen to me, i don't have to be here but it has been fun till now
There are a few boys that are thin skinned around here. Dont worry your not the only one who gets warned. Swear once I dare ya![]()

to ya all, even though i have astounded you with all my worldly information and bragged about all those mutts of yours that you are trying to keep up with in the field, mostly the same field that you happen to be in and at the same time no less, never once have i said that gsp walk on water, that i own the only real hunters between all of us and that there is possible another breed out there that you can make do with also. no bragging on my part, a little picking though. all i have said is that if more of you used a gsp it would cause a shortage of them and the price would go up, see, you are doing me a favor. i'd never ditch the gsp but if i had another 10 or so years of hunting in me i would try a pudelpointer, just to see if they are trainable or not of course. liked those pic. that showed up the other day, they looked good. i think they are interesting. never been around them but dave duffy thought the world of them, good enough for me
cheers football came is on
for real, Sir I think you are an ......... Your are trying to back step what you said and get a pass. Sorry you lose. You should have thought about your statement, before you posted. PLease mods. This Guy doesn't get it. He is a good laugh, but so is Obama.

Don't let Jack Russels fool you, they are quail hunting machines. I got tired of pulling mine out of holes and she's gun shy though so I got springers. My little jack can find birds with the best of them though.
