Lets see what they have to say

Old Wayne is talking school security and two protesters with signs they were hiding, were aloud to slip past their security to stand up and disrupt the news conference. That was in just one small room.

Epic failure!! so much for security!!

I was happy to see the NRA didn't back down from all these leftist liberals that continue to try taking away our rights. I was reading the far left liberal newspaper called the StarTribune after the NRA speech, and it's absolutely amazing how many whack jobs there are commenting about the NRA and how horrible and evil they are, and it's all their fault. It's hard living around people that think like this. I gotta move back to SD.

Everyone one of these people's comments were, "Oh, were going to fix the problem with more guns, more guns in the schools........... Guns are EVIL to these clueless people, so I'm just saying it's hard to read or hear these people's comments.

I have a bad taste in my mouth with this leadership with have right now.......

Just goes to show you Onpoint, that there are wacko's in every crowd. I saw these two individuals get up with their signs and walk right in front of the VP of the NRA while he was speaking. Too bad someone didn't just walk up and punch them in the face........ And then send them back to their greenhouse in their little yard with the prius in their driveway.....

I think people need to read/teach the ten commandments allittle more:) Maybe think what would jesus do:)
People actually pay money to the NRA:confused:

Labman, I can appreciate your passion for your beliefs, nothing wrong with that. I just ask(yes ask not demand). How about just cooling it a little on the political labeling so this thread lasts more then a few hours? I know it's hard but it only leads to things going south. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to start such a topic, my bad. Feel free to zap it anytime. I'm sure it will only lead to bad things. i just did to alert others that may have wanted to watch it.

Merry Christmas Labman

Your right onpoint! But I live in the thick of it all. You live in good old SD. I'm jealous!
I do believe I'm correct though.

Merry Christmas

Your blaming the NRA? My god. We are in trouble in this country.

onpoint is right that this thread could easily head down the wrong road. This is a very delicate subject filled with high emotions on both sides. We all have beliefs and feelings on gun control. It's maybe best we keep those to ourselves. No one is going to convert anyone on this site to one side or the other. Let's keep it civil or the thread will magically disappear!!! :)

Wow we waited a week to here that?. I could have predicted that response last friday at 3pm. The protesters were freaking embarrassing. What a waste of time.

I agree with every thing that was stated by the NRA. It was well put. If you think this thread is going south, It probable will. LOCK it up.

I think the problem in our society is that we try to correct man's behavior with laws. Laws only make things legal or illegal. If the law states that I can only drive 65 miles an hour and I choose to drive faster I pay the consequences if I am caught. That is the difficulty of living in a free country. Laws will never change behavior only a change of heart will make me want to live and abide by the rules. The problem with taking my guns away or limiting my guns is that criminals don't play by the same rules. This is a very difficult topic that has to start with the heart of mankind not the laws of any government. In the end, I choose to carry a gun with me at all times because I want to level the playing field when a criminal chooses to break the law in my presence. That too is still my legal right.

I couldn't have said it better myself!:10sign::thumbsup:

You want our kids safe in schools. Put steel security doors on every room and hallway. Make them all have electronic locks on them just like a prison has. Have them controlled from a central location. Any intruder in the building, go to lock down. Doors automatically shut and lock. Instantly the majority of children are separated and safe from any harm, the intruder is trapped and CAN'T get out. Once the system is installed. It doesn't need a hourly wage, it doesn't need benefits, training, gear, Etc. and it watches every door.

Until some nucking fut just blows the place up...

Evil isn't going to go away. Not saying what you're talking about wouldn't help, just like arming teachers, lock down drills, etc...because it would but I hate to say it these tragedies aren't going away.

The problem with arming anybody...most the time it's been students who did the shootings. Several students could easily over power someone and take a gun from a teacher or even a single guard. Especially a small women teacher. You ever see the size of some of these kids we raise these days?

What would any of these teachers act like under a must shoot/kill situation?

Who would carry the responsibility and liability for shooting someone?

Is a teacher willing to put everything they own on the line from a civil law suit from the victims family?

What if the shooing becomes unwarranted?

Insurance costs for having a armed guard are astronomical. A bordering town next to us here. They have a police force. It is run through the county as the town can not afford the insurance costs for their force themselves. Any liability runs through the county.

It's not just a simple arm someone and put them in the schools by the time they return to school after Christmas break. Wayne LaPierre is really in fantasy land with this idea. Sounds so simple but far from that in reality.

We need to crack down on PPP (Piss Poor Parenting). This idiot/coward was crawling in the hallways when in high school/among other stupid stuff:confused: What more of a sign do you need that he's of his rocker:D.
NRA really pays wild wayne 1.4 mill. A year:eek:
