K-State Football - Fans

I agree they need to take one week at a time, and I have said I would be surprised if they win out. I was just pointing out to the guy that said earlier in the year that if they win out there was no way they would go to a nt game how foolish that statement is. If I remember right he said a one loss SEC team would go ahead of an undefeated kstate. That is not possible just as I said earlier in the year. Texas Tech is going to be very tough and I'm glad its at home. Notre Dame will lose by 20 this weekend.

I am a KU alum and I watched about 2 minutes of the KU game Saturday evening and almost all of the KState game. Snyder is a genius and Klein is a stud. He HAS to be the Heisman frontrunner at this point. I would love to see KState win out. I think either Florida or Alabama will be in the national championship game. Notre Dame should lose twice. If Oregon goes undefeated, I hope they don't jump KState. Congrats Wildcats. Good luck the rest of the way. Is it basketball season yet?:D

That conference championship game cuts both ways. The Big 12 has eaten its own at least twice that I remember in the championship game. Texas A&M cost KSU a shot at the National Title in 1998 in an overtime game. I remember listening to that game on the way home from deer hunting. In 2003 we returned the favor to OU. I think there were others, but I remember those because we were involved.

There can't be 5 undefeated teams. Two of the remaining 5 undefeated will meet in the SEC championship game if they win out, giving one of those teams a loss. I doubt there will even be four. It just doesn't work out that way very often.

Hoping they run the table and end up in Miami on January 7!

The conference title game definitely cuts both ways. By playing everybody in the conference like kstate is without divisions and winning out you are a true conference champion. If you don't play everybody how do you know? I could bite Oregon as well as help them. If they beat USC the first time but lose to them in the conference championship game they won't go to the nt.

Having a conference title game has cost the b12 more entries into the title game than it has helped. I can see Kstate, Oregon, Florida and Notre Dame losing one game or more and Oklahoma getting back into the chance for a national title. Lsu is going to lose 1 or 2 more games imo.

quit begging and act like you have been there before your already making excuses for them. For a team that looks terrible against north texas and springfield mo team as much as i hate to say it there probably the hottest team in football right now but then again there in the big 12 they will find a way to lose, the nt championship comes through the sec good luck:D

They just keep getting more impressive each week. That was one heck of a win. We will be 2 in bcs tomorrow. They are sure a fun team to watch.

I went to the game yesterday.

TT with that short / quick passing attack was tough to stop at the beging of the game. The Cats had a tough first couple of drives.

But the cats made some adjustments and the close game turned into a blowout.

This team just seems to be able to get the job done.

I think its safe to say that my statement earlier in the year that Ksate is really good and Ku was really bad has been proven correct. We need to keep playing one game at a time, but I like their chances of winning out now. My whole family went to the game yesterday, but I was stuck sitting in a combine listening to it on the radio. I did see 4 coveys of quail though so that helped take some of the sting away from having to give up my ticket because of work.

The second half was amazing, after some adjustments were made! Great game

If only OU could have put the beat down on Notre Dame...

Hey, in a couple weeks that quail scouting will be worth its weight in gold.

What the heck, how did you get down on the field

I was sitting in the seats we normally sit in, and had to get up and walk around a bit, and ran into my buddy who runs Hibachi Hut.
(Great restaurant, if you are in Manhattan, check it out!)
He had field passes, asked me if I wanted to go down there, and I ended up down there.
Good time. I think my hat made it on the Jumbotron. Yes, my hat is now famous.

Since Ou beat Texas 63-21 I would say Texas is worse than Oklahoma. Texas has no defense, and Ku had them beat but lost right at the end of the game. If Ku can about beat them that says a lot about how good they are.

I miss Texas Star. It was our pre-game ritual to eat there before home basketball games. I'm sure it was a good business decision for them to make the change though. Seemed like Hibachi Hut was always packed and Texas Star was always empty.

I think it closed because of all the salsa and chips I ate for free before my meal.

No joke! Those chips were fantastic! I loved the queso! I think maybe they added it to the hibachi menu though.
