K-State Football - Fans

"When you play football there are people on the field who have the same shirts as me and other people who have different shirts. My question is: Does it matter which one I throw the ball to?" - Landry Jones

BUMP!!!

KSU is a 4-point underdog heading to WVU. I was somewhat expecting the Geno worship to be over after Saturday's implosion. Guess not...

Hope the Cats can keep the WVU offense off the field and keep running clock and adding points! This should be the toughest road game they have left. Hope they stay focused and have a strong start next weekend.

As a Cyclone fan, I hope you're right and K-State brings home the victory. I have always liked Bill Schneider.

That was a good game and I was able see it in Malaysia live. Interrupted my bar time but was entertaining to watch. One day, the Clones will figure out how to win those close games against K-state.

I am surprised KSU is an underdog. Geno will bounce back but the Mountaineer defense is horrible.

If you are planning to be in Morgantown, plan to stop by my tailgate.

Kstate is 4 in the BCS and just barely behind Oregon. Florida is number 2 and will lose before the season is over. Kstates SOS will move them ahead of Oregon if they could win out which is a tough road, and b12 champs is a more realistic goal. It just proves my point I was making earlier in the year, that if they won out the would play in the BCS title game. West Virginia will be out for blood after last weeks performance, but we did beat Ou on the road so who knows?

lol i will keep quite

It will be quite the feat without a Big 12 championship game this year!!! Could really hurt them!!!! Time will tell!!!

I think ksu would not pass oregon, deserving or not. Probably might get jumped by ND too. Lots of really fortunate things would have to happen. And that's IF the cats go undefeated. Fun to talk about the possibility, but I think they are only slightly closer to the title game with a LONG way to go.

Notre Dame has to go to Oklahoma and they will lose that game. No team has ever went undefeated in the b12 and not went to a national championship game. They have had one loss teams in it a few times. I don't think they will go undefeated anyway, but one can always hope. The b12 has 7 teams in the bcs top 25. If they would win out the sos will put them ahead of Oregon. Oregons opponent so far have a losing record.

I dunno... If you only watch the national sports media, especially ESPN, you quickly realize that KSU is the red-headed stepchild of college football... STILL.

I DVR quite a few of the shows dedicated to college football, and KSU gets barely a mention every week. Any reference to the Big 12 is about Geno's heisman chances and the traditional powers. Last week nearly 100% of the coverage was about the red river rivalry, with a few seconds about WVU getting blown out.

I think we're just not "made for tv". Just not flashy enough to get the attention that teams like Oregon are getting. And don't have a national fan base like ND. But I think maybe Snyder likes it that way...

Anyway, it's all just talk at this point anyway. Big game this weekend, and every weekend for the rest of the season. The only gimme this season was 2 weeks ago. The rest will likely be pretty tough.

I know that KSU is playing some pretty good football, and anything is possible!

I did not see that one coming... If WV does not get things figured out soon I could see them only winning 2 more games this season.

I was in my seat on the 40 yard line from opening kick off until the final second ticked off the clock.

I spoke with several K-State folks in the Blue Lot outside mountaineer field both pre and post game.

No one saw that coming.

That was one of the most impressive performances that I have witnessed in my years of following WVU.

K-state preformed flawlessly in all three phases. No mistakes. A well coached team.

As a WVU alum I am perplexed as to what has happened to the team that beat Texas in Austin.

Several of the k-state folks said that is just the way of the big 12.

Good luck to you wildcats. I will follow you with interest the rest of the way.

Impressive Win!!! I mean they put the Thump in Thumped!!!! If K-State runs the table, they better hope that there is Not a SEC team or Oregon that is undefeated!!! Both those teams are going to play one more game than K-State and that could really hurt!! If one of those teams lose, should be the icing! Good to see a Hometown kid have a shot at the Heisman, although that trophy is a jinx to most that earn it when they go to the next level!!!!

Kstate jumped Oregon in the latest BCS to third. They control their own destiny. If they win out the are in NT game. There is a lot of football left, and next week imo will be their toughest game. There isn't one game left they couldn't lose, that said they are better than the rest of the teams on their schedule.

Computer Controls their destiny!! This is why there will be playoffs!!! SEC team goes undefeated, Oregon goes undefeated, K-State goes undefeated, Notre Dame goes undefeated. Notre Dame doesn't really have a shot, Oregon has to play 2 teams in the top 10 and one in the top 20 and then probably USC again who is highly ranked for the PAC 12 Championship ( Which is one more game to gain favor with the Computer while K-State will be idle after Dec 1 st). K-State has 3 teams to play that are ranked 20-25! Do you see the facts and why K-State fans are going to scream unless a loss occurs with one or more teams? The Computer will have Oregon ahead of K-State if Oregon goes undefeated! K-State will gain ground this week on Oregon if both teams win because Oregon can beat CU by a 100 and it won't matter! After that, if things play out right for both schools and they win out, I will here the screams from Kansas all the way out here!! Notre Dame has no conference Championship as well!! It sucks I know!!! Everyone should either play a Conference Championship game or No one should! It is a big advantage to move up in the BCS with a extra game if you win it, because it is usually a ranked team you are playing!!!

That game was incredible. I bet I received 100 texts, and probably sent out 50 more.

I'm going to take the Bill Snyder pledge, and say, "The team just needs to focus on the next game on the schedule." All this chatter about rankings and who could win the Heisman is just a distraction the team doesn't need. Ask Okie State 2011 what happens when you start thinking about your bowl before you take care of the game you are about to play.

TTU, another big game against a 1-loss team with a high powered offense. I LOVE college football.

The college football talking heads are finally giving KSU its due, which is a little scary. I'm not used to so much media attention. It's fun for us fans to see our team on SportsCenter, but I hope the players don't let it go to their heads.
