Cat Win!

Oh! My was that a tough one! It was even a little tough to watch. A win is a win, and if Baylor pulls this out against OU we could end up 2nd in the Big 12.
 
All this after looking so bad in the first game of the season.
This is a tough mined group, and one of the better coaching jobs in history.
 
If ou beats osu we tie for first in big 12! Good chance at fiesta bowl. That is if we beat iowa state and thats not a gimmee.

Ok, first, please don't hold my screen name against me, lol. Second, when K-State beats Iowa State, if OU beats osu in two weeks, there will be a three way tie for first. Here's the irony...OU will actually get the first nod due to the head to head wins over K-State and osu. I sincerely hope this does NOT happen. OU does not deserve to represent our great conference this year! They are mentally weak and undisciplined on defense, and I am getting ready for the "Venables Has To Go!" charge. If I could just collect a small donation from all my buds on this forum, I think within a week, I would have enough to rent a moving truck and park it in front of his house for about a week. The defensive players, as a rule, HAVE to have a Military mentality. They must be drilled and drilled so that they act or react, not THINK! If he has been so soft as to allow them to freely think, then he MUST go. I mean, Safety and DB 101 says, "NEVER let a receiver get behind you!" Serious lack of discipline. But I'm not bitter. :mad:
 
Actually if there is a 3 way tie for first place the head to heads will have no bearing. The bcs can pick whomever they want. Kstate will have finished the strongest, so they will likely get the best game. That and Kstate seems to be everybodies darling. Remember Ku going to the orange bowl even though Missouri won the north and beat Ku head to head?
 
Not wanting to get the cart before the horse (because this season has been nothing but weird upsets), but if I were a betting man, I'd say KSU will beat ISU and OU will beat OSU.

Right, but that was when there were separate divisions.
 
Just remember that I predicted at the beginning of the season they would win enough games to be bowl eligible.:D I have heard a few rumors of BCS bowl floating around, but I heard the experts are still predicting Alamo Bowl.

No matter what bowl, this has been a heart-stopping season for sure. Except for that OU spanking they got and the beat-down they laid on KU, this whole season has been very thrilling.

And what's up with Iowa State???:eek: Just like their basketball program last year!!! They stunk it up until everybody wrote them off, and then start playing the spoiler. I hope our seniors can finish strong against them.
 
Was going to hunt this morning before the game. But the rain and lightning put a stop to that.

Its hard to believe that the team that looked so bad in the first game of the season, could share the big 12 championship with a win and a win by OU over OSU :eek:
 
Houston lost so the chance of a BCS game is getting better. I don't know if can make myself root for Stoops or not. It would be nice to put another Big 12 title trophy in the case even if it will be a split title.
 
Well Ou is peeing down their leg. Kstate fans just have to hope the Sugar Bowl picks us. O State is a good team and should do well in the Fiesta Bowl.
