Cat Win!

on a bright note, we have sole possesion of second (possible bcs at large) and ou finished fourth! baylor holds the tie breaker over OU!

How can this possibly be? Oklahoma and Texas basically meaningless in the Big-12. Big Game Bob recruits by extolling the heritage of excellence, "we win championships here at Oklahoma, that what we do". Well not for a long time! Join Notre Dame as an echo of the past. Congratulations KState, hope you get a BCS bowl bid, Long live Bill!

Listening and reading some ananlyst this morning who aren't nearly as confindent OSU won't get a chance at the title as they were. If they play LSU, Kstate will go to the Fiesta. I see a lot of people have Kstate playing Michigan in the Sugar Bowl. We will know a lot more in a few hours when the coaches poll is released.

Dangit, Cotton Bowl bound against Arkansas.

I'm so sick of hearing about LSU and Alabama I could spit.

BCS bid would have been nice, but the cotton bowl is a very good bowl. Who 'da thunk back in September that KSU would here right now... I mean, besides me...:D

Probably won't watch the national championship game, but I can't argue with the selection of LSU and Alabama. They are the two most deserving teams. The only thing that sucks is that they won't be playing against any other conferences, so it's hard to settle the debate about the strength of the SEC. If they were to destroy OSU and Stanford (or whoever), then the arguement about the dominance of the SEC would be settled.

It will be interesting to see how KSU holds up against Arkansas.

BTW... My apologies to Snyder and the Cats. I left the game at halftime and watched the second half in front of my fireplace. My coat weighed at least 10# by the time I left the stadium. I was soaked!

i will agree with but the thing with the big twelve toad is they just dont take care of business you cant lose to iowa st!! missoiri a couple years ago could have hav been 1 n the country but go up to nebraska and get there ass knocked off and its the same with all the the 12 teams just constant let downs once in a few years texas might maybe 1 out of ten years oklahoma might but dought it i cant exlain it its like winning is expected in those schools and nothing else is accepted its life down there thats all they talk about ive never seen anything like it ROLL TIDE

I just don't like the fact, that Alabama did not even win it's conference and is in the big dance!:eek:

they took the best team in the country to overtime what else you want and the only reason they didnt lsu is in there conference so your telling me ok st is better and should be in the title game ?

I can understand the bama over osu selection. Can someone please explain how vtech with no wins over top 25 teams, and their best win ranked 45th is selected over ksu or boise state for the Sugar Bowl? I'm not as disappointed with the Cotton Bowl as some fans. Its the 3rd best matchup in the county, and its actually better for Texas recruiting for Kansas State. Arkansas only losses were to lsu and bama, so kstate better have their best game of the year.

Had LSU at home, Lost! 3 missed f.g. Seen this movie once! Alabama could beat LSU and then who is Champion? They beat each other 1 time!!! They will have to play again before the Super Bowl!!!!:D I don't know if OSU could beat LSU !!! But, I sure didn't think Boise State would beat Oklahoma a few years ago either! What is the point of Conference Championships if they mean nothing? As far as Kansas State goes, I think those people pick some sites or bowl games that are close to the Teams so they sell more tickets!!! Although K-State fans travel well and would go anywhere!!!

to tell you the truth i think both teams are both evenly matched flip a coin if bama was to win i think it should be shared if lsu wins then theres no need to wonder but i do know who the two best teams in the country are do we agree on that?

Agree that they are mostly likely the 2 best teams!!! Hope it is 38-36 or something like that, and Bama wins, so there is more to talk about!!!! :D:D

bleu were you really counting on a big twelve team to take care of business and beat boise what are you missing here the conference is inconsistant you will always get your hopes up and be let down after being a mu big 12 fan it took me years of beating my head against a wall to figure out im in a no win situation but some people may be happy with a alamo bid i personally like national championships and after working and hanging around down there i see why there so successful its life down there24/7

I don't have gripe about Alabama and LSU, if Oklahoma State wanted to go to the title game, shouldn't have lost to Iowa State. That said, the BCS is a total tool. Stanford ranked ahead of Oregon, Michigan in a BCS bowl, ACC touting the most BCS bowl appearances all time, ( do they even really play football). Don't count on the Big 12 to help you either, ask Missouri for the third time, but for them at least the last snub.

The other side of it is if Bama wanted to play in the championship game they should have beaten LSU.

OSU lost in OT on the road on a day where they had a tragedy.

If you buy into the hype that nobody is as good as the best SEC teams so be it. But I don't think you should play for a national championship if you don't win your conference.
