The Big Flush - 500+ Birds!

Well webguy, a guy with a video camera, and myself are out in SD to do some scouting on the birds. Lots of birds on the roadsides and in the fields around dusk. I am very happy and excited to see this fall's harvest.

Here is one of those famous 500 bird flushes out here in SD! It's gonna be a good year boys.

Yeah, nice try Lazer. I don't see a tail over 4 inches in that photo. Last time I checked, the tail feathers look something like this.

lol. I believe you Webguy. I'll take measurements of a bird at my shop on Monday. I think he may have a 27 to 28 inch tail too. They do exist

It was taken back in 2007 I think? I was hunting with Chris at UGUIDE on a 7day / 6night hunting trip at 7 location. I can't remember even where I shot that bad boy or if he shot it? I'm getting forgetful. I have the tail-feather somewhere.
