The great debate!

This was a very good thread about some great dogs, great people able to relax and have some good laughs, I think that might be whats wrong with alot of people in the world,,,, they lost there humor,,,:laugh::laugh:

Old Dublin: Perils of the printed word, sir. Mine was a deliberate attempt at juvenile display in the face of sober, reasonable, mature discourse. A mild tease, if you will, acknowledging the sometimes juvenile exchanges contained herein -- often by myself.

I will also take the Setter's example and retire from this exchange. Better times are near, all.

I wish I knew how to speak in parables... Lmao, you guys are killing me!!!

You said it! even a Flab owner gets it right once and a while. LOL. Stay happy and funny fellas.

I tend to have more fun with the guys who can dish it out and also take it. If my comments rubbed anybody the wong way, I apologize. I assumed we all felt the same way.

amen toad. I love giving it, and I take nothing personal. Especially on here. I don't feel you, or anybody else, ( with the exception of maybe some heat delusional springer guys) have said anything wrong:thumbsup:

109 both wed and thurs paving with asphalt hitting the ground at 350 degrees. Heat deranged? Nah.:D Seriously though, that Fabio dig was good. You guys are alright in my book despite your bad taste in dogs.

Toad we should be on you more. Thats one ugly dog in your avatar.

:laugh: NICE!!! That's what I'm talking about! Maybe the "pointing deer" has run its course. Might be time for a new avatar.

I wish I could give you the same crap, but you have an awesome pic for your avatar. I probably should take more pics of my pointy dogs playing in the lake.

Was at the lake of the Ozarks this weekend. My pup Indy was doing water retrieves. Don't know that he would make a duck dog. But it was fun to watch.

Dangit! I sure hope this thread doesn't fall apart now. If it does, another one like it needs started. I too have learned to stay out of things like this b/c things just don't come across right sometimes for me, but I've enjoyed the heck outta the candid humor.

Having a pointing dog for quail my part of KS is like having a fiddle in the band when you play in TX....ya gotta have one;)

That clear thinking. Now I know why you are a moderator. Smart enough to have pointing dogs for quail.

Lab owners are definitely the most guilty of letting their dogs get overweight, but it can happen to just about any of them. One walk around Game Fair in August and it seems to me that about 50% of the dogs there are overweight. It is sad to think that 60 days after Game Fair they are going to be asking these dogs to hunt all day in the condition they are in.

tHAT'S WHY i CALL THEM fLABADORS

Well....this is a pheasant forum is it not, and we all know what the best breed is for hunting pheasants!:D

PUDELPOINTER--I HAVE A NINE WEEK OLD PUP THAT IS POINTING, RETRIEVING AND SWIMMING. Should be able to fetch beer from fridge and open by next week. ;)
