Webguy and UGUIDE will once again be teaming up for the opener. We'll also be hunting with some of the neighbors which you may have seen in some of the old UGUIDE photos.

I hope we can pile them up like the old days. As always the harvest has a lot to do with opener success but we will have a fun time anyway's.

Knowing Webguy always has his laptop powered up we will try and send updates from Pheasant Camp as we have them.

I hope everyone is getting to spend time in the field whether it be the deer, duck, goose blind or the upland fields.

Have a great season everyone and above all always be safe #1.

Good luck to you all, I hope you have a very memorable opener. Looks like a great bunch out have a awesome time.

:coolpics::10sign::thumbsup:

NICE!!! Y'all make me wanna add a SD UGUIDE camp to my list of pheasant haunts walked & stalked...maybe someday! Love to see those younguns (teen & college age young-guns) in a pic!!! Hope you have just as much luck & as good a time as always...

I hope you and Ryan have a very good season and a lot of fun. I will be out there walking in the sun with my son's. With my dogs enjoying what nature has provided us........Bob

Hey,

Where's the streaming live footage? Season has been open for an hour now and I'm sure there are new stories ready to be told.

Webguy,

I know you got one of them fancy cell phones you could be using to give us up to the minute updates:D

Just so you guys know we're waiting impatiently;)

Hey,

Streaming footage would be good. Unless you are afraid of us seeing all the misses.

Yup for sure:) pics and sharing your adventures.
AND best of times for all of you.

that pic is fun and funny at the same time, lots of birds, lots of good friends, only 1 guy working/cleaning birds, a vehicle in the background with the hood up, 1 guy still has his brush pants one cuz he ain't done yet (or missed every shot) good beer for the after hunt  comraderie, the senior bird hunter on the right with suspenders, damn that looks like fun!!!! Keep the reports coming.

It's about time for you guys to start hunting again and you still haven't given us so much as a condensed report on yesterday's hunt. That's pretty messed up guys:D I expect a new pheasant video for my pain and suffering from being kept in suspense.

Boy, you guys are slower then molasses in January with the speed of this field report. we were expecting several updates throughout the day. It's not day two and nothing.

Oh the pain....come on..give us a taste of success.

I do not think that they are going until next weekend. This weekend is resident only on public land.

 Damn, I hate when that happens..:)

Opener results

Webguy and I and our group of 5 went 12 for 15, hunted all day and lost 6. We had one 2 year old lab. All the corn was still in and the food plots and CRP were THICK! We had to work very hard dfor the birds but will be memorable day. Today we hunt with the big group and go hit the east farm so we can maybe do some damage in the corn.

lost 6??

Lost 6 birds...ouch! I guess you are hunting some heavy stuff....and the "other guys" you are hunting with them weren't making good shots...right?
If the rooster has got two good legs...pretty hard to come up with in the heavy stuff!

Non-resident and proud of it!

reckon I got u mad for asking? I did not know the history of this site:confused: but I read some out of forum information and now realize what u do in the Pheasant business, I just assumed from your location you were a SD resident, I stand corrected! To each his own.
