Over time their have been many post on pen rearing upland birds in the Habitat Forum. This is a fundamental contention because the Habitat forum is about augmenting the lanscape to increase the native production of pheasants and other upland birds and wildlife.

However, the topic of pen rearing upland game for shooting, dog training, hobby and other objectives is real, vital and of interest to many.

For these reason we are looking to get a vote to create a separate forum on this topic.

We do not know whether to put the forum in the Main section or the Dog section or other so when you cast your vote please let us know your preference. If you vote is "No" then obviously this does not apply.

If the "No" vote prevails we will just move all pen rearing threads to the lounge as an alternative to a new forum.
 
I'm for it. Chis, if it's a go move my "true pheasants" thread to the pen pheasant section/forum. That may be a good start.:)
 
Sounds good, I love keeping a few birds around just to hear them crow. I got 20 turkeys coming in a few weeks, the fun never ends.:D
 
I think it should probably be listed in the same forum as habitat, so I cast my vote for the main forum. :thumbsup:
 
Glad to see all the support for the new forum.
Why not have it along with the habitat forum?
