Not Jelious

Not jelious at all. But for the past 4 years at my job I've been ragged at by a guy. I just ignored him. All he said is upland hunting is washed up and burned out. And pretty much does exist. Well today he was talking about how his buddy got him on an all paid hunt to South Dakota worth $1300.00. Now all the sudden he's talking like he's a real bird hunter. Well sorry birds hunters hunt threw up and down thick and thin. Just thought you old timer bird hunters like my dad would be laughing. I would never hope bad for someone but over the years the guys has really put down bird hunting and myself. But the guess that trip will make him a true one not.

Sounds like an a$$hole to me. Didn't even have to pay for his hunt. Going at the expense of someone else. I've got no use for people like that, after his attitude about it all this time. Probably one of those guys who has to announce to the world every time he enters a room, big loud blowhard.

We have a guy like that at our golf club. A couple years ago I made a hole in one. Didn't celebrate much. Bought my buddies a round of drinks. Next week this guy gets one. Comes into the clubhouse hooting and hollering, holding his arms up in the air like signalling a TD. Had to go up to every guy telling his story, loud and clear for all to hear.

This guy will come back from his hunt doing the same. "I shot so many birds, blah, blah, blah".

Amen to that

I wonder how many he eats???? I would just step on his throat, but that is just me. I was looking for work when I found this job anyway!!

There is only one response to that! Buy him a brand new pair of boots for the hunt a few days before he leaves. Ask him to get pictures of him hunting in the new boots. Make sure they are a pair that needs 4 months to break in properly! :) You look like a hero and he walks like a 90 year old woman protecting blisters the size of silver dollars! Righteous!

Now that's awesome.

Bleu,
He probably won't eat any, he probably couldn't hit any depending on someone else to do it for him.
I hope he falls in a pile of dog shit, face first.

Yea you guy's tell him:10sign: Maybe he will be in a hunting accident. Yea. Maybe he will lose his legs. Yea. Maybe he will just lose his freakin vocal chords so he can't give upland any more crap. Yea. Maybe he will just go and have the hunt of a lifetime and come back loving hunting again. Who knows.

Yeah you never know;). I have a number of clients that are now avid hunters because of one trip. It really doesn't take much to see the light when it comes to hunting.

As Cabelas' "double barreled" logo says; "it's in your nature".
