i care if i shoot a pen raised bird or not carptom if i shoot a pen raised rooster with a giant tail or spurs or what ever who cares??? it will never get mounted??? a 100% bird is another story all together...

Yea your balls should be cracked well by now:D My point is SMO, why do you care where the bird came from, where it was shot, or if it even exists? Not everyone has wild pheasants in their state. I would imagine in wisconsin they are more of a prize than they are in kansas and/or minnesota. I take the guy at his word. Why would I care. I will probably never meet him, hunt with him, or send him any money. Let him post his story in peace. Not worth fighting about.

There is no "bandwagon".
If you don't agree with a thread, or don't "care", then don't post. It is pretty simple.

I am on numerous forums, and there are always people like you. They hurt forum growth and hamper interaction. I am a moderator on another forum and we try to eliminate hijacking from the likes of you at all costs. Busting some balls about not believing him is one thing...ranting about everything from landowners, to released birds, to non resident hunting fees in a thread that was supposed to be about tail feathers is the problem...not any bandwagon jumping.
 
And I think it would be a great idea to move this to the Wisconsin forum, although since so many are such experts on Wisconsin, I am not sure if it would save the thread at this point.

Several years of tail feathers I've saved out in the garage..... A couple are pretty long. If I can find the yard stick and have any really good ones I'll see if I can post another pic.

I always have to keep an eye on my normal hunting buddy. He steals all the really long ones and has his own collection but mine differs because it's only birds I shot. He's a poacher.
 
My longest (at least in recent years) was just over 25". Last one Sam and I shot together..

Nice bird! I also keep the longest tail from each bird, only started last year but they look sweet in the hunting room. You guys are getting pics on here could someone post step by step how (yes I'm that bad with technology) I'm sitting in my deer stand, getting rained on and trying to get a pic on here for about an hour. One person suggested photo bucket, I down loaded it and I tried....I suck!

The photobucket was the easiest I have found.

After you upload to photo bucket, go to "your album", and click the picture. Then hit "view links". You are going to want to copy the "IMG" link. Paste that and the picture will show up.

When I tap the picture the only thing that comes up is a "share" button that says Facebook which I don't have and "twitter" don't have that either. Should I update my phone? I may have to wait till I head home for my wife to figure this thing out. Any more info I'll give it a shot

You have to hit the menu button, I am sorry I forgot that. Not sure what phone you have, but with my android phone, it is the three little dots on the right, next to the home and back buttons on the phone.
 
If you hit the menu button on your phone while viewing your pic on pb it should have more options. Hit "view links" and copy the "img" link. Hope that makes sense.
