Hey everyone, new member from Vancouver Island here, I've had a few different bird hunting set ups in the past and am now vehicle shopping, for something for daily use and then a travelling bird hunting rig in the fall, thinking of going with truck and cap again, but would like to see what others have got including pics of your set up in the back, please post your pics ! I pulled out the back seat on my Silverado crewcab which gave me more heated room for winter.
My wet lab thanked me.

I use several rigs for hunting.I used a pickup with topper for years, various broncos,blazer,pop up truck camper,all 4x4 of course.

I use Mud River two barrel backseat cover/hammock. Durable, easy in/out. Washable. Dog and guns easy to lock up when in backseat and warm. No worries about finding dog friendly motel. On trips I will take a crate with cover in bed of truck but don’t use. It’s there for emergency of a skunky dog.

2022 Ram 1500 Laramie. 2” lift on front, heavy duty coil springs in back. Deer Creek insulated dog box, Mud River Truck Seat Organizer behind the front seat. Will replace the stock tires with 10 ply when these are worn out

2010 Ram 2500 Megacab Cummins so I can pull my hitch trailer in the summer. With the back seats down flat I can put two kennels in sideways and my two labs load from the back passenger door. I've got a shell but keep the dogs inside the truck. It makes for a two hunter, two dog vehicle, so that's the downside.
