Kansas heat

that looks like fun, hotter than the hubs of hell down here in Texas too, pretty typical though for us, dog work is water only near dusk, hard to keep them in any kind of shape down here in the summer.

same here unfortunately the dogs dont understand the heat thing and they are raring to go everyday and they just keep getting dissapointed when all they get is yard work

Found a cool spot!!!!! Leadville , CO will be 74 today, with a low of 46. Wednesday forecast 68 with a low of 41. See you in the Fall!!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Maybe I need to be a Farmer?????? Cooler here today, suppose to be 84!!! Hopefully by Friday, you guys should be in the low 90's in Western Kansas!!

spent the weekend at the dirt track races in Hays. The heat was killing me. My weims didn't even want out of the RV. got back to the CO mountains and the high is supposed to be in the 70s. You Kansas people are tough.

Still looks a little warm or HOT!!!!! Hi 90's and low 100's. Hope that those rain showers that you might get cool you all down a little. Sure makes a guy anxious for the white stuff!!!

we didnt get any rain this time either I think we are in a bad spot come on winter -20 and icy at least we can put more clothes on to stay warm but when we take it all off to stay cool we get locked up

What's all the whining about

It's been over 100 most days here in Texas since the middle of June. Can't wait for some of those 20 degree days in Kansas this winter. On another note my wife is having me some new hunting boots made to fit (Russell's) for my birthday should have them by middle of November. Anybody out there have russell boots?

russell boots

I went to russell zeypher's two years ago, zip back slip ons, would never go back to anything else for dry weather boots. Hookless front makes all the difference for me. For wet or snow I use Danner sharptails, same style, almost as light, no breakin required on either. Just say that I have tried them all, Browning, Rocky, Irish Setter, never new what comfort was till I found these two. Only downside is little ankle support on the Russell's, but worth the tradeoff for me.

I Am melting in this damn heat!!!!! 69.4 degrees right now!!! Hope I can make it to Fall and then Winter!!!!!!!!!:rolleyes::D:cheers: One more day closer to November!!!!!!
