Kansas heat

I don't know how you take it. Monday was in the 90's but dew points in the 80's. it gets so dam humid here. I can't take that heat. I had a heat stroke roofing a few years ago and since then, it just gets me all screwed up. I like cold. KB it is hot here:D do you guys get humidity or is it more dry heat. Here we get real humid and thats what makes it miserable.
 
We get plenty of humidity in NE Kansas! It was 99 with a heat index of 108 here yesterday, we did get a small break when a thunder storm rolled through and we dropped into the 80s for a little while.
I hope it cools off soon, I have tickets to the Yankees/Royals game this weekend and don't want my seat to melt to me!!

Yes, a ball game would be pretty rough in this kind of heat. Drink more water and less beer for sure.

Humidity in KS.........lots of it. I too prefer the cool months. Putting on more layers is easy. Being nude won't save you when the heat index is 110:eek:
 
Some of you might have to put a coat on, High 70's on Sunday! Looks good for some moisture for the next few days as well. Raining a bit now out S.W. Glad to see G.C.B.'s Cool weather and rain dance might just work.LOL Heading up to Gunnison and Crested Butte tomorrow to enjoy the hills a little.

Yesterday it was in the 90's with the heat index in the 100's. today its raining and when I drove by the bank on my way home for lunch it said 66! It feels like fall and I just might go crazy waiting for the hunting seasons to start opening
 
I know KC is needing it according to my sons.

Here at the ranch we are in a severe drought. You couldn't slip up on a deer because they could hear you a half mile away breaking the buffalo grass as you walked.
 
Looks like Tuesday the high temps in the 70's out west and low 80's towards the east!!!! That will be some good sleeping weather at night!!!! Looks like a little moisture as well for some of you!
