K-State Football - Fans

Well, at least I bagged two roosters in PA today. Both over nice points by my setters.

The mountaineers laid an egg!

WV played the same way the Cats have played most of the year. Well enough to have a chance, but enough mistakes to do them in. WV has played a pretty tough league schedule, they are going to beat some teams.

It would have been nice for us to have had Locket and Thompson against Baylor, might have made the difference.

Lets see those setters.

We played a pretty solid game today. We should be ISU, but those are sometimes the games that we don't seem to play well at times.

But 41 - 7 was solid, and the D was good.
Think we are at TT next weekend. Going to have to tape the game, as I will be bird hunting

That was a really solid win on the road.
Love it when we run the ball.

Now its time to head out with the dogs for a little bird work.

What a great game. They kick a 56 yarder to go ahead. Then we drive down the field to kick a 41 yarder with 3 seconds to win it.

4 in a row baby!

Yeah, that was a wild one -- back and forth, big plays. Made it pretty tense there at the end with TCU field goal, our false start penalty taking us back out of FG range. Then a long kick...which ended up looking about as perfect as you'll ever see. Whew!

Yep, that false start really increased the pucker factor.
This team has made more of those type of bonehead plays than is normal for our teams.

Is a shame we shot ourselves in the foot in some of the early games.
So far we are the only ones to stay with Baylor, and could have won that game.

There were some sloppy plays, some bad tackles, but I admire their will to win at this point. They seem hungry for wins, but a little more focused now.

Side note: My wife was feeling uncomfortable Friday night, and couldn't hardly sleep. Saturday morning she says she thinks she should go to the ER and get it checked out. I kinda rolled my eyes, but grudgingly went... Turns out it was very serious, and they had her in emergency surgery less than 2 hours from when we walked in the door! Her anesthesia was wearing off about the time KSU kicked off, and we watched the game on TV in the recovery room.
Lucky for us it happened on a gameday so our parents were in town to watch our kids. But, sadly, we ended up "eating" 7 tickets and 2 parking passes to the most exciting game of the season.
Happy to report that she is doing great, except for a little pain from the surgery. Thank God she went in and got checked out when she did, as it could have been much, much worse.

Yes it was terribly frightening, but my wife is one tough woman and I have yet to see the challenge she didn't bounce back from!

I only mention this on the K-State thread because her first reaction when they told her she would need emergency surgery was, "Oh no, we're going to miss the game!" Love that woman!:cheers:

Michigan is moving the ball, but have not been able to score a TD.

The game is closer than the score would indicate to this point.

I would not use 2 quarterbacks from what Watters showed! They really played a perfect game. Run Defense was off the charts and they only gave up barely 200 yds passing and 30 of it at the end.

Sams actually talked this week to the media about switching to wide receiver next year. I don't know if that will happen or not but it sure would be nice to have his talent on the field more.

Perhaps my favorite Snyder moment ever happened in this game. Him running away from the Gatorade bath, getting hit by the Gatorade, then lecturing Mueller about how much time was left on the clock.

Think I am going to watch that game again today :D

We played pretty well, but we fumbled, and dropped a pass in the endzone, it should have been a bigger beating than it was.

Sams would be a tough matchup at WR for a lot of defenses, especially if Waters is throwing strikes... Plus it would open up the opportunity for some trick plays if Waters pitched the ball to Sams. I think he would have potential at that spot.

That Freshman QB for Michigan was legit. I couldn't believe how accurate his passes were and how good his decision making was considering he was a true freshman and a backup QB.

That game was a lot of fun to watch, and so was the basketball game earlier on Saturday. It will be more enjoyable watching the rest of the B12 knowing that KSU has already taken care of business.
