Today was our last day hunting and I missed the shot on my chance for rooster, darn it!
Thanks for all your help guys, maybe my son his wife and I will get a chance to meet some of you guys next season!

Great! Just depends on the weather. I enjoy new years in pheasant camp.
Heading out the next 2 weeks…weather looking good this upcoming week…no snow at this point.

Definitely notice the slightly longer days by mid-Jan…I’m far enough west from where I live that I pick up an extra 30+ minutes of light, and it’s nice in mid or late Jan hunting past 5:30 pm, closer to 6?
