That is a beautiful knife. What is the handle made out of? A year to fill your order, wonder how long it takes to build/put together one of his knives. Hope this isnt to nosy but can you give us a price range for a knife like this? Thanks
The handle is jigged ironwood. The pins on it are nickel. It was $268.00 with shipping and also included the nice belt carry pouch. I didn't think the price was too high. Its a beautiful knife!
I got one from PF, pretty nice knife actually. I bought my brother a "hand made custom" fillet knife for around $180 and I think the Browning PF knife is nicer. I'll try to get a pic of it when I get home.
A Rapala fillet knife takes care of my birds. A smaller Gerber knife takes care of my deer should I need to gut one. And an electric fillet knife takes care of my fishies.
I have countless knives but those are the only 3 I use.
Happy to see all this knife talk around here. Thanks to Cheesy for sharing some (new to me) knifemakers. Some of the name I know are waaaay outta my price range, but these are looking really tempting.
The complete opposite of all these beauts but the Havalon series is what I have gone to, you never realized how dull a razor sharp knife is next to a scalpal! I had to really be careful after I started so I didn't cut myself as I was used to hacking away previously
