I'm picking from one of two litters that will be born any day now and all you guys do is rub it in with these beautiful puppies. :D I'm pacing the floor like an expecting father;)

Man I can't wait the next 6 weeks are gonna be long. This is by far the finest bred dog I have ever had.
 
Mom's looking a bit more rested one week after whelping.

Had a lifetime of Black Labs & the last one was exceptional! Labs are great dogs and one does "have to love them," but there are other breeds every bit as dedicated & wonderful. Keep tabs on your feet, lest one of them end-up firmly-entrenched in your mouth. As Simon & Garfunkle once declared: "One man's ceiling is another man's floor." By all means, be dedicated & love your choice of furry children, but be careful not to denigrate or malign the other breeds along the way. Dogs NEVER do that . . . we could learn something here . . . humans aren't the only "trainers." 'Nuff said.

Three weeks old and man are they growing. I love all dogs but man them black ones look good:D I can't believe my tough new hunting buddy is laying around on a snow white blankie.

Dutch came home on Saturday! He pretty much slept through the night and was very quiet. Sunday night he pretty much cried through the night.... UGH

Man do the women love him, doesn't seem to be helping me though.
