I like Bobs the best, followed by pheasants. Then Doves.
Still need to eat my Praire Chicken, I could not believe how dark the meat was. Looked a lot like liver![]()

Not asking for secrets and feel free to ignore me if you want to but where did you see that many grouse? We only have them in very north GA and commonly hunt several days without even hearing a flush now, since they are not cutting any timber there. I have wanted to go to UP MIchigan before I'm too old which I already am! LOL

To who every asked about Mergansers. In our duck bind its an offical rule if you shoot one (merganser) you retrieve it because the dog is smart enough not to put them nasty things its mouth. LOL You can smell them 20 minutes before they fly by.
I had Sandhill Crane last year. It was marinated, wrapped with a jalapeno, bacon and cream cheese. Then grilled...Fantastic.
All white meat= less flavor.
