    Year in review

I would have to say that this has been my best hunting season to date. It wasn't the bird numbers, but the time spent in the field. winchester sx3

I bought my first brand new in the box shotgun today. 80% of my hunting consists of chasing pheasants and i spend an average of 50 days in the field per year. I went into it wanting a semi auto 12 that was light enough to carry all day. I ended up choosing a winchester super x3 field 20 ga...

Interested in how many bird hunters like to smoke and grill meat? Im guessing most, cause smoked pheasant is one of the best ways to eat them, and most hunters also enjoy cooking.

    Seeing more pheasants this spring?

I'm living in the meeker county area and im not seeing a whole lot of birds. Friends of mine driving west of here for work say that they are seeing a few more than this time last year. What are you guys seeing and thinking? It was a great winter for them, praying for a dry nesting season.

    The ones that get away

I walked all day attetntive and ready for my opportunity, after a few miles of walking cattails I turned and said to my buddy, "I just wish there was some snow, then I know they'd be in the cattails."
