Lab health issue

My 2 year old lab has a scab type patch on his hind end next to his tail. does anybody have any suggestions as to ointments or anything else? I wish i could just take him to the vet but at this time its not possible? It seems to be some type of skin irritation. thank you for your help

You may try any sort of bag balm or something of that nature. Pretty easy to find at any farm store. Look for something in the equine section that sounds like it treats comparable condition or you may try EMT gel again you should find it there as well.

Your dog is probably getting "hot spots". Google up dog hot spots for a wealth of information.

a lot of the articles recommended apple cider vinegar. you guys heard of this?
