Zeb's Colorado Elk

Congrats Zeb a very nice bull sir. Is it crowned on the right side? Looks cool. Dont question your decision, thats a shooter, as hard as they are to hunt you know that. I did see BijouBlue trying to gode me with that .338 remark. Good luck Blue.

Zeb, out did me!!!! Got skunked!!! We were the only 3 hunters in the woods!!! Unbeilivable!!! One guy got 2 shots up high in the 2 feet snow at 50 yds, in the Aspens, but hit trees evidently!! I stayed lower in the Pinions where big Bulls were seeming to concentrate! No luck!! Beet up the 4 wheeler and had a good time until we went down and are trailer was stolen!! Hope we catch up to those fellows!!! 4 wheelers are still up there and we are headed back up to get them!!! Saw some Magnum Mule deer chasing does, one that was 30 inch and had a 8 inch sticker coming off the right side! Had better success fishing for 30 minutes, caught 6 fish , 5 Browns and a Cutt!!!! 4 of the Browns were the biggest I have ever caught!!!! Made it back alive, which is most likely why we saw no other hunters!!!!I will try and get a pic of the trailer that was stolen in case someone may see it!!!!!

Man, it looks cold! Sorry to hear you didn't bag an elk this year. Welcome to the club!

I'm sure you'll make up for it pheasant hunting.
