That's crazy. No human can see that well.I try to always look for the red eyepatch on phez. If I do not see it, I will miss most of the time. If that bird & I make eye contact, its a bonus, I am gonna crush it!

I know you remember that last day when we were up in South Dakota…. 3-4 points and layups whiffed by me. Honestly it was in my head so much I didn’t even want her to find another one. That all happened in about an hour and a half. Funny the day before I made several that were much harder in those blizzard conditions we were hunting in.I step on one yesterday and threw some lead at it. I wish I could have thrown two or three more at it.
Yeah but it was a good weekend CarptomI know you remember that last day when we were up in South Dakota…. 3-4 points and layups whiffed by me. Today must have been a day off 3's! I left my house, drive 3 miles to a CRP corner that i haven't hunted all year. I had 4 birds come up one at a time. Three out of the four were roosters. I shot 3 times, dropped all three. Took my Benelli out for the first time in several years, but kind of expected to get into a multiple bird flush opportunity. I also took my GoPro and caught the whole thing on video.3 shells and 3 birds today. Bought a new Briley Light Modified extended tube for my new 12 gauge Montefeltro and it just crushed them with Kent #6 1 3/8 ounce. Must throw a much better pattern than the stock modified and improved crio tubes. I had not missed a pheasant all year until last weekend when I missed 2. I was tired and not paying attention. Got the new tube on Friday and screwed her in today. I have 3 briley tubes for my 20 gauge Monte and have been very happy with them. I think I have found a good combo with the Kent Fast Lead. I much prefer 6's over the 5's in a 12 gauge. For the 20 gauge I like 5's.

When I got home and started cleaning the birds I thought to myself that I had less than $5 total in today's hunt between gas and shells!
In Kansas, it's a 4 bird limit. I have had several 2 for 2 doubles standing in 1 spot , but never a 3 for 3 triple. This was really nice for me and my confidence since 2 weeks ago I had a severe case of the "yips"! There were lots of birds flushing all over the field and would have kept hunting if it wasn't so hot just to try to finish 4 for 4. It's 63° here today, and way too hot for the dog. That's a fast limit!
I've gotten a 2 bird, MN late Oct or early Nov limit in Minnesota in fresh snow, 5 minutes after leaving the car, on a staggered double flush, but that was after a 3 hour drive. Never got 3 super fast. Of course, fewer chances to do so in Minnesota too. Can only get 2 until December.
You've set a high bar for yourself to beat!
Ah, I somehow thought this was a SD thread. You wouldn't want to mess with the power of 3s by getting 4 anyway. Save that for a 4 mile away place sometime. In Kansas, it's a 4 bird limit. We were only in the field for 20 minutes and knew there would be a better day!

I almost always shoot an O/U. I've had some triple opportunities in the past that turned out to be singles or whiff.... And I am counting reloads and 3 or 4 shots!Yea I quit hunting today when it got warm. I have shot a triple 3 times.
Not me, automatic. I might miss 5 or 6 times all year, very seldom on pheasants.I almost always shoot an O/U. I've had some triple opportunities in the past that turned out to be singles or whiff.... And I am counting reloads and 3 or 4 shots!
