That's Morgan, she is a Welsh Springer Spaniel. They often are mistaken for Brittanys. I'm told they are quite rare, I believe there were only a couple hundred registered last year through the AKC.
She weighs about 35lbs and is 2.5 years old. She has been sort of a slow learner compared to my GSP's but she has a heart that won't quit and has turned into great retriever and is getting much better as a dead bird dog.
The rooster just to her left is her first wounded-pheasant-running-in-deep-CRP-switch-grass-find-and-retrieve-to-hand bird.

I thought's that what she was. I picked up a copy of Gun Dog magazine about a month ago, and they had an article on Welsh Springers. They are neat looking dogs. Glad to hear she is coming along.
