They are going to have to amp up in the playoffs.
Like you said they begin playing a prevent offense out of fear of a turnover or an incompletion. Reid did it here up until 3-4 years ago. Used to drive me nuts and cost us a few games. Not anymore as he plays it out fairly aggressively within reasonPrevent is based on the idea to not give up a big play and instantly let the game become close. Burn the clock ...
A good offensive drive is actually the best defense during any part of a game when you have the lead. Just like prevent defense ... most OC go conservative when they have a 2+ possession lead because they do not want to turn the ball over. I find it more frustrating to watch a high powered offense go ultra-conservative ... 3 running plays and out ... punt and give it back to your prevent defense.
They need to play great defenseMontgomery remains inactive for the Lions is a plus for the Vikes.
Gibbs was a beast alone! I am not sure how anyone could beat the Lions if they get a few more "starters" back on the defensive side. The Vikes kind-of held that offense in check for almost 3 quarters. Beat the lambs and back to Detroit for round 3!Montgomery remains inactive for the Lions is a plus for the Vikes.
Do it!Vikings vs Rams game has been moved to State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ. Since I'm only 17 miles from the stadium I wonder if I could find some cheap tickets?
The place will be packed with snowbirds! There will be a lot more purple there than Rams fans. That's 100% guaranteed
Not this snowbird. I'll be nice and comfortable in my La-Z-Boy recliner in front of my 65" TV.The place will be packed with snowbirds!
