WOOH-HOOH, did not win any guns & got outbid on all 3 items I wanted in the live auction last nite - but made out like a bandit after all, winning two grab bags in the cheap lotto tickets. Guess I'll be able to adequately compare 'Kiowa Creek' & 'Quail Run' to each other now, since I am already a member @ the first & won a membership to the latter in one of the grab-bags - not to mention the nice shooter's bags, 2 orange vests w/game bag attached (one a QU, the other a PF), 2 hats, Comedy Club tkts for 4, free King Super groceries, heavy sporting goods discount coupons, ect, ect, ect... :cheers:
BEST PART OF THE ENTIRE NITE: EVERY KID THAT SHOWED UP @ THE BANQUET WITH THEIR PARENTS GOT A FREE GUN (no raffle tkts involved & no BS)!!!!!!! The 4-7 yr olds all got 22's & 8-15 yr olds all were given youth model shotguns (called up on stage together & assembled for a group photo w/their guns in hand)...WOW, now that's the way to create a lasting memory for a kid & give them a jump-start interest in hunting/shooting! Kudos to the Denver PF Chapter & wonder how much those 16 guns cost the GENEROUS Donor!!! :10sign:
